Who cares, either way we are no worse of, suarez will be pissed of if he does not get a move and probably a disruptive influence in the dressing room, or Liverpool will have to sell him to Madrid for about 30 million. The highest they will finish is 6th even with suarez, there buys so far have been shocking, bordering on embarrassing, kolo toure was past it 2 years ago. The bottom line seems to be so far that Suarez has not kicked up a fuss and it most likely means that he doesn't think it is worth kicking up a fuss to get a move to Arsenal, if Madrid had offered and we said no, he would have kicked up murder.

I am certain we will sign Suarez. Why? Because Wenger has to. Not just for Arsenal, but for himself. He is in the final year of his contract and if the final year is not a successful one, his contract will not be renewed.

Bale will go to Madrid so effectively the only other club I can see coming in for Suarez is Chelsea (who want Rooney) or maybe a Russian club like Zenit (who he would reject).

It is Arsenal or Liverpool for him and we all know which is the more attractive opportunity. That is not a WUM comment, that is the truth, as painful as it may be. Maybe we will not get Suarez on our terms but we will get him nonetheless.

 

God and they call us deluded. how are you certain you are going to sign Suarez? you are as far away from signing him as it gets. You haven't matched our bid, not even close, and Suarez hasn't even handed in a transfer request! He's obviously not as fussed as you think otherwise he would be trying to force this through. And I thought Wenger had just signed a new contract?

 

IF Arsenal do get Suarez then it will now be very clear that they have paid very silly money for him. So we are probably now talking topside of £60 million. Now I can't say that will have been Wenger's fault as I don't know who at your club actually conducts negotiations and who ultimately sanctions the paying of the fees. However, I can say that your club will not only have been made to look silly but will have paid a heavy financial penalty.

As for your last statement. Why would Suarez want to join a club that will not win the CL, will not figure in the later stages and more than likely not finish in the top 4 this season? That's not a wum statement either.

 

He hasn't handed in a transfer request? What is your point? How many of Liverpool's signings this Summer have handed in a transfer request? You like your history, don't you? Remember when you wanted Suarez to hand in a transfer request at Ajax? Remember the £12.5M bid? Wonder how that turned out at the end. Oh yea, he moved clubs. Face it mate. We want Suarez. Suarez wants to join us, and Liverpool want his valuation met. When it is met, he is ours. Simple. Nothing deluded about that whatsoever.

Even if he were desperate to leave Liverpool he's never even suggested that he would want to join no-marks like Arsenal.
