update on snodgrass, the daily record report his girlfriend was involved in a serious road accident yesterday, so that explains his absence <ok>

maybe he'll feature tonight against cambridge united along with one or two of the others who didn't take part last night.

Went last night, my thoughts were it was a good first half playing 4-5-1. But a sloppy second half, mainly with 4-4-2. The flow of the game was badly affected by the changes. Brighton pretty much changed their entire side for the second half, and we made about 6 changes in the 2nd half.
My thoughts and marks for players :-
Ruddy 7 (Commanding presence, dealt with most things comfortably, but had no chance with the goal)
Whitaker 6 (Looked dodgy early on but improved as the game went on, and had a few good attacking runs)
Garrido 6 (Tried to get forward on occasion but didn't get many crosses in. Defensively OK)
Martin 7 (Pick of the defenders, looked solid as usual)
R.Bennett 7 (Some well timed challenges, caught out of position on occasion)
Redmond 9 (Pacey, tricky and always a threat. Very exciting player)
Fer 9 (Looked quality, whether attacking with some driving runs, or in more defensive role. Didn't lose the ball)
Howson 6 (Scored an excellent goal, and worked hard)
Tettey 6 (Plenty of energy, broke up play well)
Bennett E. 7 (Had some good runs, delivered some decent balls into the box)
Van Wolfswinkel 7 (Movement was good, give him service and he will score goals)
Subs
Hooper (Did very little)
Becchio (Tried to get involved by moving wide but didn't achieve a lot)
Butterfield (Tried to get involved but didn't show a lot)
Fox (Didn't do a lot)
(A couple of other guys came on but didn't have a lot of effect)

Our goal was a slick move down the left with a smart finish. Their keeper didn't even move.
Brighton's equaliser was a 30 yard piledriver into the top corner. 1-1 was a fair score.

I kind of suggested he'd been hacked with tongue in cheek. But now I'm a bit worried that he actually has!

i've been watching a bit of man city v ac milan. i was a tad surprised to see man city race into a 5-0 lead inside 35 minutes!! boy oh boy, do they look great going forward. however, they have been a complete shambles at the back and the score was reduced to 5-3 by half time, all three goals defensive errors. very enjoyable match. it's still 5-3 with a few minutes to go... <ok>

Team for tonight

Norwich City: Nash, McNeil, Toffolo, Fox, Ayala, Gafaiti, Hoolahan, Butterfield, Hooper, Jacob Murphy, Josh Murphy. Subs: Matthews, Barker, Hodd, Hall-Johnson, Loza, Ajayi.

not sure why wes wasn't involved yesterday but is today...

Still no Snoddy, but at least we know the reason why now. Hopefully he'll get a start in the Braga game.
