If it was last season I doubt he was part of the squad, as he transferred on the 17th of August to SC Heerenveen in the Summer. Probably left out due to injury risk.
What ever happened to the lad Finnboggson who was on our books at one time? Think he was here the same time as Teddy Bjarnesson (sp)? Both were highly rated - cant recall them playing more than 2 or 3 games between them (and i think Bjarnesson may have been the only one who ever did play?) Never heard of them since. Same goes for the new Paolo Maldini Milan Misun. What became of him?
Offishul site..... Delight as Celtic sign Derk Boerrigter By: Mark Henderson on 30 Jul, 2013 20:53 CELTIC are delighted to announce the signing of Derk Boerrigter from Ajax on a four-year deal subject to international clearance. Should he receive that clearance, he will be available for tomorrow night’s UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie against Elfsborg. The 26-year-old becomes Neil Lennon´s fourth recruit of the summer transfer window following the acquisitions of Amido Balde, Virgil Van Dijk and Steven Mouyokolo. Boerrigter spent his youth career at FC Twente, where he was spotted by Ajax and joined the Amsterdam giants for the first time as a teenager. Following a loan spell at HFC Haarlem, in which he made his competitive bow, he made the move to FC Zwolle on the expiry of his contract. Benefiting from regular first-team football, the winger flourished at the Bluefingers, attracting interest from several clubs in his homeland. Newly-promoted RKC Waalwijk won the race for his signature and he signed for them in the summer of 2009. His impressive displays for RKC persuaded Ajax to swoop for his services for a second time two years ago, and he quickly hit top form in Amsterdam to earn his first call-up to the Dutch national side in November 2011.
Milan Misun was a funny one. It was reported that Swindon gave us a Decent price for him but it turned out that had never signed a contract with them. As far as I know he went back to the Czech Republic after that. I wonder did we ever get money for him???
We don't need it, we're loaded. Just doing our bit to help others less fortunate than us, typical, the Celtic way.
Ajax just confirmed the transfer, BBC says 3 million pounds. Sources: http://www.ajax.nl/Ajax-Nieuws/Ajax-nieuwsarchief/Ajax-nieuwsartikel/Ajax-en-Celtic-akkoord-over-Boerrigter.htm http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23487965 Congratulations with your signing guys.

Full analysis from the previous page: The lay down may not be something you would like to read, it's not that positive. At Ajax, I found him inept for the technical game they played at the Amsterdam Arena. His first touch and crossing in particular are horrible to start. He has decent pace but a quick defender can easily keep up with him. In other words, he was simply not good enough to play at Ajax or any other sub top club in the Eredivisie. When I saw him on the pitch I always got aggravated and after 3 or 4 games in the 2011-2012 season I already came to the conclusion that I hated the player. His decision making, vision, pace and technical abilities are just below par to be a good winger for the Eredivisie. But! His physique and determination are fantastic. He is a very strong player and he never gives up, always chasing the ball and always puts up a fight. Which makes him in my opinion a lot more suitable for the SPL than for the Eredivisie. I give him more of a chance at Celtic than at Ajax because of the difference in system. I can't give a more detailed report than this because he hasn't played that much last season, but this is what you'll have to work with
See all the negative stuff Cove has said.... I amn't reading it..... Only the good stuff. Stupid...yes. Naive.... Yes
