I fancied Elegant Statesman in the first at Galway when I looked last night but expected the Weld horse, Diplomat, who won yesterday albeit not as easily as I thought he would, to pull out. Now the price has gone so I'm stuck in that middle ground of taking half the price about a horse I thought had a reasonable chance of winning or just leaving it alone. I think today is one of those days where discretion is the better part of valour and i'll leave well alone.

    6.20 Captain Kelly - 5/2

Purely a value thing this one, I think he should be shorter and I think he is a classy enough horse to be winning good ground beginners chases.

Fancy a bit of Global Village in the next at Galway. Back to form with a 2nd in the Lincoln then 4th in the Newbury Cup. Fortify is mega consistent and wouldnt surprise me if in the frame also.

    Thanks Nass.

    Unfortunately, I didn't.

Kind of saw the money and joined the party!

Let's see if we can do the hat trick in the 6:50 between us!

6.50 is an awful race for the handicap marks they have. I had the judge down as the likeliest winner!

a nice place at 25-1 Barney, fortune favours the brave.

Also had two nice winners today at Goodwood, rare for me to have winners there!

Anyone back CAP ELORN for the follow up tonight?
