25m for a guy (who flopped and failed to impress last season) is alot .. am worried we will end up with another Torres with a shattered club experience in his back and never recover again I rather have an in-form players like Fellani over Modric i rather see Januzaj getting his full chance over paying £25m Modric who is coming with packages this time
I'm surprised there have been no articles in July linking us to Nicolás Gaitán. The last time I recall was in June of this year. Its been rumoured for a while that we have a gentleman's agreement with Benfica for the midfielder. Would cost about £25 million. Could also offer Anderson as part of the deal and get an AM in as well as shipping out dead wood.
I think Torres' drop in form is more to do with that long term injury he ha whenhe was still at Liverpool, he never looked as good after that even before he went to Chelsea. A lot of people assumed it was because his heart wasn't in it playing for Liverpool anymore but I think he lost that burst of speed that used to get him free from defenders and he's not had that since. Modric hasn't had a big injury, his ability has not been altered in this way so I think it's just a case of him fitting in more than anything.
While Modric is undoubtedly a cultured CM and would bring us an extra element of creativity, Fellani being signed would give us a strong aggressive presence in CM which we have lacked for a good while. Even if we were to get Cesc (which we won't) a bid for Fellani would IMO be a good thing.

indeed .. spurs will be crazy to turn that sum down but comn do you think Bale worth 85m or even 60m? .. 40-45m sound right price.. if Real are desperate to pay double of what he worths, we are not is logical to pay 10-15m more than what he worth to tempt spurs to sell, but to pay 45m more, is ridiculous

me too .. i rate Ozil highly.. the difference between him and Modric is astronomical Sir Alex wanted to sign him, imagine how strong we would had been ? why you keep going back to that ? !! when did i said welbeck is better finisher?!!! all i said he add other stuffs with his runs and linkup that not many are offering in the team Modric supposed to be the creative guy? right? all others mid even those who play in a more deeper role like Alonsoe or khedira had more assist & goals? if Mordric like Welbeck is adding more stuffs (that others are not offering) to compensate his horrible stats, please tell me what? he had a bad season.. as simple as that
