No sign of him moving on, so what would the reaction be if he were to come off the bench on Saturday? I hope there would be no booing from our supporters, I think we've had enough of that.

If he comes on...I'm turning the TV/COMPUTER off and going to bed

    YES HONESTLY!

Would be the most disgraceful thing our club has done in a long time. Just my personal opinion. <ok>

Would it be worse than picking Bosingwa after he'd refused to sit on the bench?

He is the sort of player we desperately missed last season so I will welcome him back with open arms

Barton is a huge knob i'd be happy to see him leave but i wouldn't boo him and if he did stay he'll probably do well for us...

We HAVE to support every player for the next month whatever happens.
We have to keep them positive
The crowd have a huge role to play over the next few weeks

    Even Barton

Though I admit he is an idiot but also admit we could have done with him at times last season.

Imagine if he really got in the mood and started running the show!
    Ce n'est pas impossible

You can tell pre season optimism has begun

I'm not sure how to feel anymore. I was there when he was sent off against Man City and I said at that moment that I never want to see him wear hoops again. But time has changed things. He is a prize knob but if he can stop the stupidity I know he'd be a really good player in the championship. I think people wanted to hate him when he played for us and overlooked some good performances.

This. I have never ever booed any QPR player, and I never will. No matter what.

If we're winning this first game, which we need to do for lots of reasons, it would be good to bring him on for the last 10 minutes, providing we're at least a couple of goals to the good. The sooner the better, if he's going to be a member of the squad.

Me neither. The worst I do is not cheer or clap which is what Bosingwa got (or perhaps did not get!).

It's a hard one. I strongly believe in second chances but JB must be on his forth or fifth second chance by now. The negative PR of his sending off at City was damaging to our beloved club and possibly deprived us of a place in footballing history had we denied the City Superstars their historic win.

If he plays, does well, scores the odd goal and behaves himself, he will win most fans back to cheering his name once again.

can't believe he's still at the club. How long has this been dragging on for? What does Phil Beard do all day?

Don't like Barton at all. I would never boo him though, not whilst he wears the hoops.

A player who beats up women?
    A racist?
    A rapist?
    A murderer?

The only player I ever booed was Boswanka in that game that he got subbed off.
Id boo King, Id boo Terry. Id boo any player like that, some things are more important than 3 points.

If everyone had your attitude, Boswanka would still be playing for us taking the piss every week.

Of all the players we are shifting, can't believe we still have Barton.
Can't Beard get of his fat arse and get rid?!

I wouldn't complain if he was back in the side, I think we could use his work rate and maybe Redknapp will get the best out of him. Who knows?

If he's at our disposal and isn't leaving then make the most of it

it is ok saying why can't we get rid, who will pay him the same as us? Until he realises that he is not getting a pay off from us and will have to take a hit and not us paying him off to subsidise his lower salary we are stuck with him. So as a paid member of the squad he will just have to buck his ideas up and get on with the job in hand if he had anything to do with it or not

I appreciate people's feelings here but in all reality, if the atmosphere at HQ is like last season we will follow Wolves. We need to support the TEAM. Managers make decisions that wind us up, confuse us and ones we don't agree with but ultimately the team is picked on form and ability. We need to be up for this season and make Loftus Rd a hostile place for the opposition not the home team. COYR's.

I would love to see Barton back in the team. Last season was the most humiliating season during the 41 years i've have supporting R's and Barton was nothing to do with it. He is just what we need to go up and it's a shame that so many of us cant see it that way. Anyway having said it so i believe, that Barton goes elsewhere before september.

Barton is a knob but I won't boo, I won't cheer either, unless after several games he is playing well and clearly trying I may come around

The club got great support last season and look what it did. The players continued to take the piss.

Start off with the good support but we have to let them know arsing about in not acceptable, any player like Boswanka has to be driven out of the club.
