In the lennox- am i missing something Garswood 7/1 has good form the rain is coming! Sureley this is a massive price for him!!
Sounds like you are in with a good shout wooly. Good luck. Though you will be carrying the added weight of my money! Though I have a few carrots for you for a treat if you win!
Hi guys, out in Mozambique at the moment....scorchio!!! Chief Mate on the vessel just happens to be from Galway, doesn't bother with the horses....unless he gets the nod and a wink. Seems he has received an email this morning advising him the following are expected to run well; Pintura. 6.45 Sophies Echo. 7.45. Good luck if you play.
Here's my picks for the day, will stick them in a e/w accumulator 1.55 Clon Brulee 2.30 Ambiance 3.05 Producer 3.40 Harris Tweed 4.50 Bancnuanaheirann
Hi to All - one of the lads at work has 2 with Mccain - he's never overly forthcoming with stable tips but has advised my mate that BILLFROMTHEBAR and CLOUDY RULER should both go in tonight !! ... good luck to all that play ...almost 9/1 double ...
Goodwood 1.55 Clon Brulee 8/1 2.30 Sleeper King 12/1 3.05 Pastoral Player 25/1 5.25 Waseem Faris 25/1
At Goodwood, I like the look of Whispering Warrior in the opener as it is an improving horse near the bottom of the weights although it does have to defy quite a rise up the handicap for its latest win. Whilst Aljamaaheer is the best horse in the Lennox Stakes, he has been doing most of his racing over a mile and although the drop back to seven furlongs should not be a problem, the weight concession to the Hannon runners could be his undoing. Presumably they decided to sidestep the Sussex Stakes because they thought he would just be running for a place against Declaration Of War. If the heavy rain avoids Yarmouth, I may be looking at Whipper Snapper in the 3:50 while everyone else is looking at Goodwood. When I saw who had started the Daily Thread, I was surprised that there was no advise for the 5:40 at Galway. That seems to have been rectified since... Sir Barney, the Racing Post went with Manchester City to regain the title and Chris Hughton in the Sack Race.
One I really like at Goodwood today. Waseem Faris 25-1 5.25 Other Goodwood picks 1.55 Blue Surf 2.30 Supplicant 3.05 Garswood 3.40 Cavaleiro 4.15 Mystique Rider 4.50 Ascription I think Mikeys BRONZE PRINCE will run a big race today but has an awful draw
Stick, I think you deserve a medal for bravery for punting in that ‘lucky last’. I note though that the joint fave in the heat, Lost In Paris, is owned by the forum’s second favourite owner, old boy Henry Ponsonby. Could he have a last race today, first race tomorrow, double with that one and then Mr Henderson’s Lieutenant Miller?!?
Afternoon guys, a rare appearance from my good self and some nice big priced fancies for you all to ponder over all at Goodwood: 1.55 Tepmokea 25/1 EW 3.05 Boom And Bust 33/1 EW 3.40 Cambourne 16/1 EW 4.50 Uppercut 14/1 EW Good luck to one and all
Stick, QM thanks very much for the info. I’m nowhere near a football expert but the side that interest me are Rochdale at 25’s (or 11/2 to be promoted) in League Two. I also know a few people who have backed the only league side in the county to be relegated and may join them. 7’s was available a couple of weeks ago but only 5/1 now. They are under a totally different regime now who apparently only bought the club in order to stage concerts and events at the ground. Players are being sold and there has been next to no cash injection into the football side of things.
Ron, Swindon Town. I’m a million miles away from being a fan of the club but know a few people who are and none of them are looking forward to next season with anything other than trepidation.
