    No new contract

ALI Faurlin has not been offered a new contract and could well be one of the ‘four’ chairman Tony Fernandes promises is about to exit QPR either permanently or on loan.

Although the Argentine was one of six first-teamers who turned out in a behind closed-doors friendly against Leyton Orient on Saturday, Chronicle sport has learned the man on loan to Palermo last season is surplus to requirements.

Just don't get this, especially following TF's tweets about Ale a few days ago.

It seems that anyone who did/could do a job for us and is proven in the championship is being moved along.

DJ, Mackie, Bothroyd, Faurlin , who's next..... Hill? Derry?

These are also the players who love QPR and would give their all

    Curious decisions indeed

Hopefully it will be Hill and Derry because both of them are too old.

It is very odd indeed. The only explanation that will appease fans is if players of proven better quality are brought in instead eg Townsend.

All makes for a very nervous start to this campaign. Does Harry really know what he is doing? We will know in just a few days now.

    Agreed.
As time goes on I find myself agreeing less and less with Harry on who is a good player and who isn't!!

Ale was a great player before his injury. Sadly that doesn't mean he still is - he looked way too slow when he came back last season under Hughes, before being loaned to Palermo where i Understand he got little playing time. Doesn't sound promising to me, but haven't seen him play in along time now.
