"City would then be left to cover a possible commitment of almost £5m in wages up to 2013."

Where does this figure come from?

2 more years at £45,000 comes to £1.08m

I suppose there will be employers contributions to NI etc but surely it won't be £5m still?

Anyone have any idea how long Bullard really has left and what he would actually cost to keep?

I have a feeling that no-one will touch him, if so we may well have to play him despite our reservations!

    Guzan/Mannone

    Rosenior Ayala/Hobbs Chester Dudgeon

    Stewart Danns Evans Bullard

    Fryatt Simpson

Might look quite interesting. Only 3 signings needed

You can't add up Horsham, £45k a week for two years is £4,680,000.00.

    £45k pw X 52 = £2,340,000 per year
    £2,340,000 per year X 2 = £4,680,000
£4,680,000 + E'ers NI and possible extras is near enough £5M

I'd made the same mistake on another thread. Approx £1m over two years sounded quite reasonable for a potential crock.

Bottom of the class for me. Comedy.

Even if it was £45k per month I think all of us would love this wage

If it was £45k a month, we wouldn't have needed to get rid of him, he'd have been a bargain.

    The fail are useless.

Why would we pay him off and let him go for free

Why if we sold him would we pay his full wages for the remainder of his contract

Why would we pay any of his contract off at all anyway.

The deal is most likely to be be 30k in wages a week from QPR (that seems standard lower level prem wages for a better sort of player like Bollard, we would support this by the remainder 15k a week which is around 1.5mil...chances are we would waver the fee and QPR take him on the 45k a week.

Personally if I was Allam I would keep him, play him in the reserves and ruin his career going forward...Allam has the cash to afford to carry a tosser like Bollard...that is what I would do if I had the money....after a season of that he will be begging to have his contract cancelled by mutual agreement and walk away from the club.
