It's a nice problem for the manager to have Vim!. It's like saying that Ronaldo wouldn't get into the Spurs team with Bale in it. Of course he would. You would make it work. 2 of the best players in world football could definitely play together and any decent manager would think they could make it work as well.
I don't know either. However, does it mean that Ronnie is moving if they buy Bale. Nightmare scenario is we lose Bale and Utd get Ronaldo?
I heard an amazing thing on Talk5hite, last night. One of the presenters on the late night spot found an article from The Daily Telegraph from 2008 which carried a (very small and unimposing) story that Levy was considering doing a deal with Middlesbrough whereby we gave them Bale+£15m for... Stuart Downing! A story in the same paper, a year later, said that we were considering selling Bale to WHFC for £3m. So, for all of you out there who think we're being hard-done by with Real offering silly money to take Bale off our hands, just consider how it could have been sooooo much worse, had we simply given him away.
apparently their manager has been trying ronaldo in a central role in pre season to prepare(could they be more arrogant) for Bale arriving, but if it was to happen you could use Bale and ronaldo interchanging position so it's clearly possible, yet Bale has moved on from just being a winger so a lot would depend on how ronaldo welcomed Bale into the team and if they could form a partnership of sorts.
He also said he wants away from the British Press. Maybe he'll say whatever it takes to get a few quid?
I've always said that Spurs need to keep Bale if they are to achieve Champions League football, but considering the amount of money and possible player-exchange deal, you could probably invest in quite a few decent players and have a whole team good enough to finish in the Top 4.
Good piece in the mirror. Bittersweet experience watching the video on the page though http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/gareth-bale-transfer-tottenham-sell-2106285
