    Steal a car.

Apologies, have just watched Scarface and it has put me in a criminal mood.

So you're promoting vehicle theft, driving whilst uninsured and driving without a licence. Why the hell not!

Haha. Really frustrating though. I'd be fine getting there, just involves a train, two tubes and a cab...

...it's the getting back after the match that'd screw me up. I'd be cutting it dead close.

To good an opportunity to pass up though, I think you are going to have to risk it. What does the work entail?

Yeah, for work experience of that calibre I'm sure it's worth the hassle (and expense), even if it means staying in London overnight.

Sleeping rough shouldn't be discounted without due consideration.

Covering the Brentford XI games vs Bedfont and Osterley. The usual fella is in NI covering the Milk Cup and the guy emailed me to ask if I would do it for them. Includes programme article and website report with by-line.

No payment of course, but another opportunity I guess.

I can do Osterley on Saturday, it's just getting back from Bedfont. I'd basically have to get a cab from their ground to Heathrow airport and tube it back to London Fenchurch Street via Tower Hill before 00:24.

Just had a look on laterooms.com for you, and there are hostels for £20ish pn in the area if you are willing to risk pubes in your bed. There are also fairly inhabitable looking hotels and B&Bs at the £50-60 mark. That's what I would go for anyway. Sounds like a fantastic opportunity, go for it.

Right. It's a 19:45 KO. So will finish at like 21:45. That gives me two and a half hours to get back to Fenchurch. That journey should take two hours tops. I think I'm gonna have to go for it.

I've stayed overnight in London just wandering around until the trains start running. There are always ways to entertain yourself. You can just saunter into a hotel and act like you're staying there, sit in the lobby, watch some TV, use their nice toilets.

Even better. Hostels make for a really **** night's sleep, but you always meet interesting people. I kinda fancy doing this myself. Just need a reason to go to Hounslow in the first place...

I don't watch a lot of non sport TV, but tonight I watched a fantastic program on rock pools; a program with customer footage of the cruise liner sinking (OMG) and then most of Michael Collins. Missed the beginning.

Christ. Not more than 3 hours sleep last night due to tooth ache. To top it off unless I get a nap at some point today, I won't see my bed again until 1am...

    :(

Bolt has accepted Farah's challenge to a charity race at 600 m. That is probably the right distance, giving both a chance.
