From that video he looks like a really good player already. It'd be good to get some more Egyptian youngsters over here and if we can secure talented players for the future from other countries, it might make up for better academies stealing our home grown players. However, it looks like he's all set for Luzern, so I doubt this is going to happen, unless we've turned his head.
if hull city really want a youngster that is ready for the PL why not Mohamed Ibrahim? he is one of Zamalek top players now +Egyptian International playing 13 games in 2013 with egypt http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohamed_Ibrahim_(footballer) http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/mohamed-ibrahim/profil/spieler_141224.html the second video is from Zamalek vs Ahly 4 days ago in caf champions league
I'd rather the owners focussed on Hull City Tigers and left Bruce and a proper scouting crew to look after Hull City AFC.
CI is reporting that he has joined us on trial. Can anyone confirm that? I can not find it on the web anywhere else.
It's likely they're just rehashing the news that King Fut reported. It might be true, but he was all set to join Luzern for the season, so I don't really know. Unless somebody wants to pop down to the training ground today and see if there's an Egyptian lad there.
CI do have a habit of claiming "You read it here first". If nowt happens, they'll let it drop; if something does, then they'll blow their trumpet.....
http://www.thisishullandeastriding....tory-19613758-detail/story.html#axzz2b6mB98QZ Bruce said: "He's going to try and come over to us when we get back from Germany but the difficulty for all these young players, especially a young Egyptian, is getting work permits. "He's someone we've been made aware of and he's a very good player, but getting him into the country long-term will be a problem. There's the possibility of a special talent permit, but he's one for the future."
Tell me where is says the Allams had any influence in this. Could be Brucey and his scouting crew where responsible for it anyway.
Glad to hear Bruce has confirmed our story! We'll hopefully have an update soon, especially on the visa concerns.
Is he more likely to get a work permit? Do Egyptian players struggle or will Karhraba be alright? Sounds like a special talent work permit could be in the offing; is he with our squad now or does the trial start when we get back from Germany?
Not coming on trial anymore due to permit issues, looks like the second talented youngster to get away this window for the same reason @Mamdouh_Eid 17m Kahraba set for Luzern Medical tomorrow due to work permit issues in England...would've loved to c him in #Hull...hopefully in the future
“@Mamdouh_Eid: Kahraba set for Luzern Medical tomorrow due to work permit issues in England...would've loved to c him in #Hull...hopefully in the future” So he's not coming on trial?
This work permit thing is getting on my tits now. He doesn't need a work permit to come on trial; that suggests that we made a bid for him or we asked the home office and they said no chance. We'll have to stick to EU players from now on.
