This was the ST renewal cost last season... please log in to view this image MY TICKET HAS GONE UP 40% !!! So, from paying £656 for two, I now have to pay £930. Oh well, we now know our place in the 5 year grand vision, fleece the fans for all you can get. Thanks for rewarding the loyalty of the fans who stuck with the club. No doubt if we get to the Prem, we are looking at £800 minimum season ticket prices.
Never understand why students get a discount. Why not members of the armed forces? I know which one out of those has done more for the country
My renewal works out at £20 a match - Not a bad deal compared to buying a ticket on the day and we ought to see some decent opposition this year. I think prices were very reasonable last season, and I expected a fairly big rise for the coming one. At the end of the day, the squad is going to cost more money as we progress so prices will rise accordingly. I've been putting a tenner aside each week since last year so I was bang on the money for my renewal. CBK, I agree with you about student discounts - nothing special about students compared to other groups, they have just chosen to delay working full-time but I think it's kind of traditional from when they were a much smaller group and generally were doing something that required full time study so prevented them from earning much money rather than now when every man and his dog is doing a degree in media studies, going travelling and working in the same kind of jobs when they finish as any other person who didn't try too hard at school
This may be a thick question but does anybody know how the under 11 bit works,i will be hoping to get one for my nephew in the family stand which is free for under 11s,he is 10 at the time of purchasing but turns 11 half way through the season so i don't know what happens. If it don't apply to him then it'll cost 200 for a under 17s so you can see the importance, can someone in the know let me know please? thanks.
Concessions now 65+, so I can no longer get a cheaper ticket. Makes a big difference to me. My tickets gone up nearly 77%. I suppose you could say that most people are still working at 60+ and I am still part-time but on a personal level it's a blow. Been hit with a double whammy, but must grin and bear it and hope to see some great games this season.
Hmmm, I remember when my ticket was equivalent to £17-£18 a game, with ticket prices around £25. Now I'm looking at equivalent of £22!! Still, if it helps with revenue and signing some decent players to establish ourselves in the CCC (Opp, can't call it that anymore, it's just the Championship now!! Or the NPC?!) then I will accept it but I hope it doesn't go up that much again for next season/if we get promoted again. In NC we trust
Doesn't affect me, but what if you are renewing a concession season ticket but are under 65, you will now have to pay a 100 more than you thought.
Man, £14 for Junior now. That is if they let me keep lying about my age, otherwise it's £22 which I think is the same as last season.. 77%?? What a joke, that's terrible for you.
If we want to be well run financially i suppose we are always gunna take the hit, but aslong as we sign some decent players and carry on with the 5 year plan im happy
I suppose we have to remember how the ticket prices dropped when we went from the Premiership into League 1, now we're faced with the restoring of that price drop and an increase due to passing of time. I'll still be there for all the games I can make. See, my lip has nearly stopped quivering. At least we now see football worth paying for. Onwards and upwards to the promised land.
Good idea Dan, I wonder if I could try lying about my age........although I don't think this 30yr-old could pass for 20
It might well be the case that the prices we had last year were possibly lower than the market norm and now in a league above, we have jumped back to the somewhere around the club average (always is a bit more expensive in the south as well). I looked at Ipswich's ST costs as a comparison, but soon gave up as they have dozens of bands for different stands and was impossible to compare. I've calmed down a bit since my first post, but still a bit shocked at the percentage increase.
Good the prices are going up. Keep out the riff raff I say. Soon they'll be plenty of space for me to open my hamper in peace.
Wow 30% increase for me Still at least there's some kind of installment plan this time Be interesting to know how we compare to other teams, say Brighton, Skates, Hammers, Palace
As has been said before, Nicola was a high-earner in his previous incarnation and was asked to take over Saints by ML. Markus would have had to make an offer he couldn't refuse if he was to uproot his family from Switzerland. We're a private business and he gets paid what he gets paid...and he has fulfilled his brief so far. As he drew ML's attention to us, his wages do not concern me.
And Beddytare will have plenty of room for his enormous posterior and his knitting needles. See Beddy I can still laugh
