So back on topic, new Barca coach says they are not selling Fabregas. "He will be staying here." "Fabregas is a top player, we are proud to have him here. It doesn't matter what the offer from United is, we are counting on him." Vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu added: "It's logical that we've had offers for Fabregas because he is a quality player but he is not for sale. "We are proud to have him here. It doesn't matter what the offer from United is, we are counting on him. "It is normal that many clubs are interested in our player Cesc. That is a source of pride for us, but we'll reject all bids."
What? You asked me where I found that ****, and I showed you where I found that ****. Patronising? Moi? Well ****, might as well give up then. Tell you what, we'll give up on Fab just as soon as Chelsea give up on Rooney and Arsenal give up on Suarez
Where do I start? With re: article published 15/02/13 Moyes has injury concerns, the Everton website quoted Moyes as saying the Blues boss revealed the defeat at league leaders Manchester United last weekend took its toll on his squad but stopped short of naming names. âWe have got one or two injuries from the Manchester United game,â he said at his Friday press conference. âWe are going to have to assess them and see if they will make it.â So players injured during a game then and not training. With re: to article about 17/05/13 of pair to miss Moyes final game, Neville at 36 years old had a long term knee problem which in effect caused him to miss the final games of the season and to announce his retirement in early June. Meanwhile Leon Osman had fluid on the knee. Moyes said "We are not too far away, Leon Osman is not fit, he has got a problem with his knee, he has got some fluid on it. So he will miss the game. "I think apart from that, I have got most people available." So fluid on knee which can be caused by many reasons but not necessarily bad training. Also the vast majority of his squad fit. Next. So Baines after 1 hour (playing superbly if you read the articles in a full strenght Everton side) went off injured with an injury. No idea of how he got the injury but it may have been caused during the match early on or from a previous game. So no evidence there of Moyes causing injuries. Not great proof so far lad. Next. So Dominic King in the Mail reported that Gibson more than likely needed surgery to repair a thigh problem. So what? A problem that could have occurred in training or during a match? Bloody hell you'll need to do better than this. Next. So again Dominic King reports on 08/03/13 that Howard was injured. Injured how? While playing against Oldham. King said 'Howard sustained the injury when Oldham striker Robbie Simpson clattered into him during the latter stages of the FA Cup fifth round replay 12 days ago. Simpson was booked and Everton manager Moyes was deeply unhappy with the nature of the high challenge. Next. You publish an article from 26/02/13 in which it says Anichebe would miss the replay against Oldham as he was suffering from an injury picked up in the first match. Sorry training or the first match? First match. Also the same article says some of his players were carrying injuries sustained in knocks in the Norwich game. I'm getting quite bored now. Still nothing to suggest overtraining. Next article is again about Howard being injured in the Oldham game. Next is a reference to another injury that occurred during another match This time Phil Jagielka. Finally you have posted an article which said that Kevin Mirallas was off injured again after coming back to early from an earlier injury. Big deal. This happens to every team in the land. So in summing up, your attempt to label Moyes as the reason for his players being injured is well in all honesty pants.
RVP was just unlucky most of the times. he isn't injury prone imo and United will probably get 50 games a season out of him. That being said many players have complained about our coaching after they left the club and we have had terrible luck with injuries over the years ourselves. The season just gone by wasn't so bad, though. Maybe with Bould as assistant we have changed something.
Batmoanu mate, I didnt know you were on not606. When did you join this site? I heard you got banned from ja606. I think its unfair that they banned you and allowed respected gunner idiot to be there. How are you by the way? I hope your well becase you are a legend.
Personally I think players (and unemployed physios) are generally just opportunistic and like to have a whinge when they can. I remember all the older Arsenal players like Keown, Bould and Adams saying how Wenger rejuvenated them with new training methods, just the like the ones Verheijen peddles on Twitter, and yet other players start blaming these methods for getting them injured. Players just want to be able to avoid injury without actually taking responsibility for their own training, diet and fitness. There's a reason players like Giggs and Scholes keep going strong until their late 30s whilst players like Rooney and Bellamy are falling apart before they hit 30, and it's not just down to the physios...
o This A few years back I read/saw an interview with, if I remember correctly, Patrice Evra. He talked about how being a professional Footballer is 24/7 job. What you do every hour of the day directly effects your health and your performance. Evra's almost never hurt and into his 30's he's still charging out of the back like he was 5 years ago. I think the reason the Giggs/Scholes/Beckham/Evra's of this world can play well into their 30s at a high level is because they understand the amount of work that goes into being a footballer outside of training. The Rooney's and Anderson's of the world don't understand that. Genetics also play a part, but that's a whole other topic.
They are pretty much interested with Fabregas, they started to bid at 25, now they've increased it to 30. I don't know though if they will agree this time.
They already rejected the £30 million bid, we're supposedly readying a 3rd and probably final bid of around 50 million euro's.
50 million ????? You sure ? I haven't seen that figure quoted anywhere. Plus, that amount would be far too much in my opinion.
Actually I read between 45-50 million Euros which is close to the £40 mark to just over £40 million depending on what the actual figure is. It's just speculation but I think we will make a final bid for him, I don't know if it will be that high myself though. That said, how many midfielders are there out there that have proven experience at the highest level and in the Premiership and would improve what we already have, maybe it would be a high price worth paying.
True in the sense that it should be regarded as the value to the team rather than the value of the actual player. I just think it would be a high price for someone of his age, I think he's 27 ? Regardless however I can't see him leaving Barca but I'd like to see him playing CM with Carrick.
Difference being of course that it is widely accepted Suarez and (probably) Rooney want to leave. Fabregas seems at best open to the idea of leaving but if he's happy to stay and the club want him to stay (3 sources now), you're really reaching if you think the situations are comparable. Don't worry though as you'll be getting Bale anyway, why would he want to go to Madrid?!?
You can't widely accept anything until they put in transfer requests. If you find me a single quote from Rooney saying 'I want to leave' I will buy you a pint. And, while you are at it, if you can find a single post from one of us asking 'why would Bale go to Madrid?' I will buy you two pints. Until Rooney hands in a transfer request the same rules apply as they do to Fabregas, everything else is press speculation. I can't speak for Suarez other than to say he remains an utter ****.
