Does anyone think our game might get moved to the Sunday?

Not only will some people have split-loyalties (as we know there are people who follow both clubs), City won't want any empty spaces for our first home game of the season, Hull FC won't want to miss out on the possibility of more people there and the main one: I can see plod wanting it moved; having to police our game and having the city centre pubs full of rugby fans at the same time is probably a bit hard for them to manage.

Nah. They were in the Challenge Cup final at the same times as our first ever PL Game vs Fulham.

More likely that the RFL would change the date, get a few more hundred there.

Huh, I could have sworn that we were at home. Was it our second home game?

Edit: Yeah, we were home vs Wigan. I think that I blocked it out of my memory, because of the result.

When Hull played Rovers at Wembley didn't City play at home?
If City's home game wasn't moved when a club from this city was assured of lifting the cup then they won't move it to see a city team come second.

Just checked - it was the day we got whooped by Stevie Bruce's Wigan - 0-5. Remember it actually, as I was at City, while a lot of other people I knew were watching the rugby, or at the first ever Freedom Festival.

Checked attendance figures - dropped by about 250 people from the Fulham game, so not by loads, but could still be a noticeable gap in the stands, especially as last time the novelty was there of it being our first ever Prem season.

How many were at Huddersfield today?

I can't imagine there will be a significant difference in attendance at the KC.

I'm open to offers, there's six front row sets that cost me almost £500 each, I'm afraid a tenner won't cut it.

said 6000 on TV, not bad for a semi-final, may even get their usual 10 000 home attendance at webbley :cheesy:
personally I wouldnt bother just to be embarrassed by Wigan.

Work wouldn't let me have the time off for it the dicks, switched my phone off at 6 and just finished watching - absolutely buzzing. I'd already got my tickets for the final because I'm off to London that weekend anyway, so it's even more of a buzz FC are there.

Last time City got promoted Hull got to Wembley, was always going to happen.

Dutch, today was the fourth win in the cup, we've beaten North Wales, Wakefield, Catalans and Warrington now, although this year was the first since the last time we got to the final we've beaten a Super League club in the cup.

The fans response to that game was the one thing that gave our lads the impetus to go on that run. We got hammered but they never lost the support - right to the 90th minute.

They knew after that they had nothing to lose and quite literally, the fans that day gave the team the lift to go on that run which gave us a second season.

Of course, Brownie completely ****ed that up at Man City.
