Changing formation in a couple of freindlies is not a plan B... Its during actual games when things are clearly not working he lacks the imagination or nowse to have a game changing influence on the match... just throwing three bodies at the back is not a major master stroke...,<ok> and with the piss poor attendance yesterday the fans are voting with their feet..a clear message to the owners..

Sky played a massive part in the poor attendace

Although Monaco had alot of quality players they didnt have a big name that the average bloke would have heard of like when Madrid came here.

The formation we played yesterday might have worked if we played the right players. Konch doesnt have the pace to play it and we looked alot better with Schlupp playing there. The midfield was trying to contain Monaco too much in the first half rather then putting pressure on them. Neil Danns changed that 2nd half. Also in the first half there was no one linking the midfield to the front line other then when De Laet was going on them runs

The major worry about the 532 if we lack the defenders to play it. Zak Whitbread was superb yesterday but we all know he cant play every week because his body cant cope. St. Ledger struggled. Liam Moore did well but us having to use Gallager at right back sums up the lack of numbers in defence

Im sure your right..its all sky's fault.. schlupp is not a left full back and doesn't want to play there..our midfield looked second rate, whitbread "superb" ? really? he is a lame donkey who we can't even consider pencilling in on a regular basis..ditto, St ledger.. gally at right back again.. I rest my case..<ok>

trying to copy your promotion as well. As for people playing superbly against Monaco - were they giving out happy pills as you went in the ground. Shmike did well, other than that we were a yard off the pace, and they managed to find a yard of space. Thank **** we aint got to play that type of class every week. We definitely need a couple of loans coming in, and then fingers crossed we stay injury free - otherwise it will be mid-table all the way. Before I get jumped on, I am not being pessimistic, but realistic, as we try and adjust to FFP. Whilst I dont think NP is the right guy to lead us to promotion - I do think he is the right guy to sort the financial mess out. Cos of that, I hope he is here for the season - I just wont listen to his post match assessments.

The average bloke has heard of Falcao.

Anyone who has shown any interest in football has heard of Toulalan, Moutinho, Abidal and Carvalho.

Real Football fans will but the armchair fan wouldnt have. Not like when Real Madrid came here with Ronaldo, Kaka, Benzema, Alonso

Or when Barcelona came here with Ronaldinho, Saviola, Puyol etc

I'd just like to say that I didn't go yesterday and part of the reason for that was that it was on Sky. And it certainly has nothing to do with how I think we'll fare this season. I am sure others thought the same.

As I said yesterday, I don't much about him. I don't play football video games (well, not any more!) and I rarely watch European football (I find it dull for the most part). I watch every match in major international tournaments (well Euros and WC), but since he's Columbian, I haven't seen him in any of those.

I have seen Ronaldinho, Saviola, Puyol numerous times and obviously I saw a lot of Carvalho at Chelsea. I wouldn't say I've never heard of Falcao but I've certainly not heard anyone compare him to Ronaldo or Messi, two of the most hyped players ever.

Sorry if this makes me insular and uneducated but life is busy and I only have time to watch football that directly or indirectly affects my teams (Leicester and England). Falcao and Monaco is not as big a draw as Ronaldo and Madrid to me (and to most I feel).
