Hamiltons grumpy face will be all over BBC and Sky page. Longing for Sebs 4th to come quick.

Nothing against Kimi and Lotus but Seb is now almost 40pts ahead of Alonso which is the real factor and now even more worse Mercedes has picked up the pace to get in his way for the big points against Vettel.

Seb needs another retirement if the others want to have a serious hope of catching him.

Nobody is mounting a consistent challenge. Others pick up good finishes here and there but not enough to take on Vettel. Hamilton, Alonso or Kimi needs to step it up in the second half of the season.

See now Spa and Monza will be the interesting ones for Lewis, can he win both? Spa shouldn't be too bad for Seb the way he is driving this year, but Monza will be the usual problem IMO. Lewis could close the gap to 30 on Seb with the Fly-away's to go which will be Seb/RB territory.

I wonder if Mercedes will impliment team orders NOW to help Lewis mount a REAL! WDC challenge?

I hope he can... would be great if Hamilton could muscle in on the title fight. Not getting my hopes up though. :)

Im leaving a quote to signature treasure chest here. ****ing Mercedes and Hamilton cheaters. Raikkonen was the legit winner with Seb and Mark podium.

For Hamilton to win the WDC this year he needs two wins with Vettel retiring. If Vettel survives Italy with a big lead intact then I think he'll be fine because Ferrari and Lotus would need to develop better than they usually do in order to seriously challenge him.

Dunno... I doubt it, but it depends. I think he'd need to be a bit deeper in the fight than he is now. Had he managed to win Silverstone, then I'd say yes.

Actually she doesn't. I would know where she works as i'm her son? I'm not a Hamilton fan but he deserved the win today, he overtook. Vettel didnt.

I think he has the flow of 2010 before he started to make those mistakes at Singapore and Monza for example, it's not unlikely he will win both the next 2. He has to make the most of this period as it's his strongest from Canada to Spa historically, Seb's is from Monza to USA where he always goes up a notch and Lewis just seems to fade sadly.

I think the more pressing issue is that Rosberg is now 40 points off Hamilton (which makes him close to 100 off Vettel). In fact, even before he retired today, Rosberg was struggling... so I would be astonished if team orders aren't implemented. Mercedes aren't Mclaren.
