Well, after reading more about him he might well be first choice.

Seems he was one of League One's best left back last season and was given a new contract but he decided to run his current one down.

If Nigel wants to play 532 throughout the season I would want both with St. Ledger and Whitbread struggling for either form or fitness over the last 2 years
