On that subject, sorry if you felt I was having a go at you with regards this thread yesterday, I was more pissed off at the general negativity pervading the forum. Hopefully now that people have vented we can use the thread for its intended purpose.

Jesus... some of the immaturity and outright childishness around here is amazing.

And the irony of complaining about hate while doling it out is quite laughable.

One other thing... If F1 causes you so much pain and anguish. DON'T EFFING WATCH IT!!! It was much better before the fair-weather, glory-hunting, casual fans came on the scene. You could actually have a mature discussion about the sport without it descending in to bitterness and hate. Just switch it off!

Oh dear. Ferrari are Italian, I don't see any problems with them using Italian as their team language. Being based in Italy means many of their employees are Italian and the majority of the tifosi are as well. And I hope you don't actually think Italy is a third world country? :p

Bernie: "If they don't talk English they're not worth talking to." (extension: Unless they speak Chinese or Indian)

Bernie thinks like I do so maybe he should adopt me :p

And yeah I've been to Italy enough times to know what kind of country and what state it's in <ok> the Vatican is probably their *best area* in Italy..........

If this is an FIA fail thread, then surely the way they dealt with Test-gate should b bitched about more?

The FIA need to clarify the "overtaking off the track" rule, because Grosjean got screwed

It's fairly obvious, all 4 wheels should be inside the white line when you're overtaking. Unless you're talking about they should get rid of it, which I agree with.

Just bring back proper circuits with grass up to the edge.

Drivers won;t be tempted to go outside the white lines and if they are brave/stupid enough to do it and still make the pass, then good for them and let them keep the place!

Agreed, but i think Health and Safety believe Grass is "dangerous" <doh>

Maybe they think it'll give drivers hay-fever?

Getting penalised for taking the long way round when overtaking someone.

    Makes perfect sense.

It can do as you widen the angle of the corner so can go around it quicker by getting on the throttle earlier to have a faster exit or simply giving you more entry speed to go around the outside.

If four wheels are off the track to facilitate an overtake, the rules, which to be fair are fairly consistently applied, is to give the place back or get given a drive-thru penalty.
