i havent seen any pre season games so i dont know what sort of season we are gonna have, but i think its gonna be a big task to get promotion.maybe a tenth place finish.
I'd be happy with that Rocky. We certainly won't struggle like we did last season under Waddock With it being Ainsworth's first full season i have a feeling we'll surprise a few people this season.
i think it's vital to get off to a good start and then we will be ok mowgli .but if we lose the first 2 or 3 games it could be a long hard season.
I think if we get off to a good start and keep hold of our players in January, a finish in the play-offs would certainly be a possibility
The trouble is with this level of football you never really no what the other teams are doing until the first month is out of the way. Look at yesterdays result at Newport C
totally agree phil that's why i think it is important to get off to a good start winning becomes a habit and gives the whole squad confidence.
i wonder what team g a will pick for the first game,he certainly has a lot of choices in all positions which should bode well for the new season.
Villa promised their 1st team but played under 21 and youth team players and Newport are fuming after nearly 3,000 fans turned up to see their star players.
I'm actually pretty confident we will have a safe season, not at the bottom but not challenging for the title. I'm happy with that and think we have a good squad with only 1 or 2 players who will let us down (Waddocks signings). As for starting 11 I have no idea up front or even what formation we will go for. At the back I guess Ingram McCoy Doherty Stewart Dunne Anyone else fill in the rest?
