Did you know the reason why the South Stand of BP never its roof ? it was burned down in the 70s H.C.A.F.C logo riots

Don't argue with him, he doesn't like that. He's right. That's all.

You're clinging onto this 'business-football separation' nonsense just because it suits the opinion you always need to have that the owners can do no wrong. Even arguing that match tickets are a business operation rather than a footballing one.

Tell me, if players are pictured signing for Hull City Tigers, and we're buying tickets to watch Hull City Tigers but that doesn't represent the playing side of things then what the hell does? Do you believe that the only thing that represents our 'footballing' name is the badge on the shirts?

From what I can tell, you'll just back the Allams on here whatever happens. I don't know if it's just for the purpose of this forum or what, but you don't seem open to debate at all. You appear just desperate to hold one point of view.

Peter, I think asking for NT's resignation was a bit over the top but I agree with your points and like OLM said, I respect that you're actually trying to do something about it.

Maybe so, but if, as I have been led to believe is the case, there is a plan to change the name totally then Nick Thompson lied on Radio Humberside. I know football managers have always lied about injuries but this is at a completely different level. At least Nigel Pearson didn't lie about Leicester's interest in him. He just displayed extreme irritation at being asked valid questions. If people are willing to lie on radio then we know the quality of people we are dealing with. If we are totally wrong and we are instead witnessing many displays of incompetence - which seems to be the club's defence - then there should be even more resignations.

If I get a standard reply that simply ignores many of the issues then I will send very specific emails, which, given other people's experiences, will be ignored.

I love the irony when people criticise my email, and every other complaint, as being "whiney" yet somehow don't see their comments as being equally "whiney". I think it shows the paucity of their argument.

On a related note, I have brought the following to the club's attention many times but I have been ignored.

On the KC Stadium website there is the following:

    "Stadium Management Company Ltd
    The KC Stadium
The Circle, Walton Street, Anlaby Road, Hull HU3 6HU"

    http://kcstadium.co.uk/kc-stadium/contact

There is no such company name listed at Companies House.

    Companies House says:

    "Name & Registered Office:
    SUPERSTADIUM MANAGEMENT COMPANY LIMITED
    KC STADIUM
    WEST PARK
    HULL
    UNITED KINGDOM
    HU3 6HU
    Company No. 04179402"

The club seems to be riddled with incompetence.

    Oh, erm, thanks Mini-OLM.

How does someone with such low reading comprehension skills get to mod a forum? I've actually stated it's nothing to do with the Allams for me, but as usual, some semi reasonable discussion's happened, some of the usual too, then you wade in with a load of bollocks.

Peter is the one obsessed with the business-football separation thing, not me. I have simply responded to his questions with MY view of the situation and MY opinion on answers to his questions. Obviously that's wrong because OLM said so, but he really doesn't need you as a desperate little side kick repeating his decrees.

From what I tell, you just like making stuff up, then regurgitating other peoples points and questions because you think you'll appear as clever as them. It doesn't work btw.

So now its time for you to use your usual smileys, cut up some elements of my post, and try to appear clever. (You won't btw, you never do).

Let's get it straight. Do you understand why they are trying to separate the football/business activities? Do you agree with it? Do you think it can be done logically?

It's true that. I always chuckle when I know I'm whining about someone whining about something, and I assume at least a few people will see the same thing.

Thing is, it's very easy to be whiney on a forum/in an email, neither really achieve a great deal though on their own. Going out and actually doing something takes more effort than most people are prepared to pay.

Yes - It will be better and more efficient to have a "football" side that stays the same "brand" wise as it has been for over a hundred years, separate from a previously appalling run "business" l side of things which will be free to try new things in an effort to make the "football" side able to benefit in increased revenue and more importantly, stability, for many many years to come.

Yes - They've been together for years, it didn't work, in fact we almost lost the club. This way, at worst imo, nothing will change, at best things will improve hugely. Things needed to change at our Club ("football" + "business" = Club), both on and off the pitch. I hope this is at least something we can agree on.

Yes - Why not? I've already stated my views on the football v business side and how they split up. I have no idea on the minutiae of what elements in total make up the Club, however I trust Nick and the board do, and that they have the best interests of the Club at heart, not themselves. I realise some will think of previous owners and assume our current ones are basically the same. They're not.

Bonus Response: My views are not based on the Allams ownership of the club, and in fact the Allam's involvement or otherwise in this, is not in any way affecting my views on this subject.

Meeting/talking directly the people involved. Organising marches/protests/local media involvement etc. Positive action as such I guess. Otherwise it just looks like a small handful of people are bothered by something, rather than the tens of thousands of fans we have.

I do acknowledge that the emails are a reasonable starting point, I just don't think they're very effective on their own. I like the personal touch.

I agree. I just think they are misguided.

The idea that the club should have a business side with a different name from the football club is ridiculous. They can get a lot more money by identifying as closely as possible with the football club. Tottenham tried to have a separate commercial arm and lost millions.

I took an accounting degree and PE1 and then I had to wait two years before I could take PE2 and spent to much time working long hours and travelling for personal reasons. I still only failed one paper though.

The last 30 years has confirmed that experience, knowledge and attitude is more important than passing exams although that's nice, too.
