Do you think he will want to be benched or sent to reserves in a world cup year? No, he will play or leave. The latter looking more likely.

You are speaking as a supporter, your owners are business men. Q How much have Arsenal offered, A 40 million sir, Q is anyone else interested, A not a soul sir, Q what did we pay for him, A 23 million sir, A sell him to Arsenal.

  3. That was kind of his point, if Suarez doesn't leave he isn't going to sit on the bench, he is going to work hard and play to the best of his ability.

I don't he's the kind to take that lying down though, if he doesn't get his move he will sulk. That's the last thing you would want. Just saying. We could argue in circles all night though.

  5. I don't think he is like that at all. I could imagine him throwing every toy going to get a move but since he is banned for us until after the window closes anyway, he can't exactly go on strike can he? Once he can play games and therefore able to strike, the window will have closed so whats the point?

If he sulks between then and January, then we ship him out in January (at the right price), if we don't get the offer we are looking for at that point then we are in an even better position because he certainly can't sulk for the rest of the season if he wants to go to the world cup!

I think Suarez' sulking in Aus tells you everything you need to know about how he'd react if he doesn't get a transfer.

  7. Sulking and kicking up a stink beforehand? Absolutely! He is south American afterall <laugh>

But do you seriously think he would sulk after the window closes despite not being able to move (because the window is shut)? Maybe at first but he'd soon crack on because he loves playing football, you only have to watch five minutes worth of him playing football to see that. There is no way he sulk for four months!!!

Of course he ****ing would. If he's kicking up this much of a stick now, how do you think he's going to react if Rodgers tries to hold him hostage ? Even Little Lucy Modric threw a strop at the Spuds before they shipped him out at a way lower price than Chelsea were offering and before he left Redknapp was trying to tell us that he was a 'triffic lad with a triffic attitude'

  9. I don't think he would. Plus, he'd have too much to loose; his world cup place would be in jeopardy and he would be unlikely to see that move to a big club like he wants.

Personally, I hope he goes now anyway. He's dragged the club through the mud many times and he as been backed 100% be the staff, players and fans but he repays that support by acting like he as over the summer? I know there aren't many quotes associated to the stuff that has been in the media but, considering the vast amount of **** floating about, Luis could have put a stop to it by speaking out ages ago.

Edit: just not to an English club unless they pay for the privilege <ok>

He won't go mid season. Bad move for players to switch clubs particularly in WC year. Said it with Bernard too. I think however the saga will be resolved sooner rather than later. So you won't need to wait long to find out what the outcome of this all is. If you want my honest opinion, I think Liverpool looked better without him last season. It is, just an opinion though.

  11. Although the general consensus it is not good for players to move in January, as a Liverpool fan I have to disagree; off the top of my head we've signed Agger, Skrtel, Suarez, Coutinho, Sturridge in that window, all have been successful <laugh>

I don't it would effect a player like Suarez either, it would take a hell of a lot (such as being benched or in the reserves all year) for Uruguay not to pick him for the world cup.

However, I agree. It will be all over in the next few weeks and I doubt he will be at Liverpool come 1 September <ok>
