Spurs and Villa were neck and neck a few years ago, and more recently they were neck and neck with Newcastle too. You saw on the old BBC 6O6 and then here that the spuds would try and mock both of these teams - as they knew better than to try and mock those in the tier above them. You now see it with Liverpool. The spuds, in an attempt to make themselves look big, try to bully the team just below them, partly through fear that they might be caught and partly because again, they look silly trying it on with the big teams. It's an interesting psychology of the little man picking on somebody smaller than him.
You may feel that I have talked disparagingly about Spurs, but that is of course only to counter your claims of the 'North London Power shift' occuring whilst we 'spiraled down the table'. That's called putting the record straight
I think you will find that the term "North London Power-Shift" was one that was coined by one of your own fans, PESKIE.
Maybe, but he was exposed as a idiot when it came back to haunt him too the season before last. Didn't stop you from haphazardly pursuing it again last season either though, did it ?
Not just me. Most Spurs fans and a good many of yours, too, thought the days of the long-awaited NL Power-shift had finally arrived.
At least you admit you've been talking bollocks I suppose, are you intending on changing that at any time ?
Well, they do say that a leopard cannot change it's spots. If I was to be likened to any animal, I'd definitely be happy with being likened to a leopard. Have you seen how fast they can climb trees? On a serious note, I have a feeling that many on this site would mourn the death of intellectual banter if I were ever to hang up my wum-guns.
Sorry to break it to you HIAG, but you and intellectual banter aren't even in the same room, let alone on the same page.
I've got to say, that I would love to see Fab at United. My, what a massive stab in the back for Gooners that would be!
I don't see how there's any "fail" in what I wrote, Ozzie. That chip on your shoulder is getting in the way of your reason. No one is doubting that Barca don't want to let Fab go, but the news (if I am correct) is that Fab has let it be known that he wants to move to United. Christ! That alone is a massive kick in the googlies for all Arsenal fans. They must be distraught with shame and bitterness!
