"New Zealand has one of the highest obesity rates in the developed world, with nearly 30% of people overweight." Taken from a report about a chef who is being thrown out of the country for being over weight. Can this all be true?
yup perfectly true NZ authorities are panicing over the numbers of obese people in NZ and the rate of diabetes and heart disease is rocketing but it gets you some rep don't eat it all at once don't want to get overweight now do we?
Hi there Back on line after a sky/Bt/open reach debacle on our return from holidays...... I cant begin to go into the madness...... we have two lines , one with BT and one with Sky and our broadband is with sky.... all are affected by a fault... but try talking to anyone about it and getting it progressed any way .. at least I am able to get on line now...
Yes Yorkie, still battling the heat. 100,000 homes without power in the region this morning due to overnight storms, but we were let off here. Meteo changing their mind four times a day about the forecast, making it very difficult to plan ahead.
Before we went in for double glazing, we had hail come through our window having broken the glass. You should have closed your shutters then it wouldn't have happened was all we got from the neighbours who know about such things. Sounds like a good excuse to get back soon.

20.9 percent is still not good that chef must have been carrying 10% of new zealands obesity on his own at least the uk and Australia are ahead of us
Anyone got any recommendations for a decent mobile phone? My BlackBerry is getting like me - old and slow - and I think it's time to put it down, but there is such a wide choice that I'm a bit overwhelmed by it all & have no idea which to get. I don't use it for much - only pay £5 per month with Virgin & use it mainly for FB, Twitter, football updates, email/sms & occasional chats to the wife - but feel naked without it. Any ideas?
I am currently trying to set up the Watford predictions league for this season (i will get there in the end) - does anyone know how to link threads to each other ie. rules-league table-future posting etc. ?
