Talking about the business Lomas has done already , JB has said

"I am delighted with Lomas, and these signings..."

"But he (Lomas) is even more than i expected. He exudes energy. He ha turned us into the dark horses of the league. This may be as good a team as we have had in a long time. It is the best team for our buck as we could have, as we say in the USA"....

"I also stressed to both (Jackett and Lomas) that if someone is available, he should not worry about it costing a few extra pounds extra a week....

"I never spent more on the club than i did in the 6 months since last January. It was the biggest budget in our history. But it obviously didn't work. We made a bid for £1million for Chris Wood and ended up not spending it, so it was there to be spent in the months afterwards"....

    Agree Mighty.

We tend to forget the man who continues to bankroll the Lions.

Interesting that the Archbishop of Canterbury waded in against payday loans companies this week (and despite the small gaffe) got some good publicity. Sounds like JB and JW are on the same side.

Maybe JW could pop down the Den (in his proper clobber) and bless the team?

Or he could totally go out on a limb, get really agitprop and chant "no one likes us...." with the Canterbury choir.

That would give the C of E some edge and maybe a few miracles would come in handy for the team.....having said that - maybe this has been done on the QT already.

He could kneel before thee and say "you will be led my man you will go at once and fill in your fantasy football team"

and you never know by some miracle you might even do it <ok>

Can't help thinking the ol' Chesh might be right. They certainly don't seem to be performing do they?

Actually, my Rugby League team here in Oz has just sacked the coach, and he's the son of the chairman! You don't perform, you're O.U.T.

    Please note Mr Lomas.
