Apparently we've bid €1.5m for him. (although Rick Skelton isn't sure of the validity.)

He's an Algerian international with a very, very good strike rate in the Greek top division. He can also play out wide. Interesting if true.

Oh **** he's ****ing ace. Very good for Olympiakos who aren't half bad.

    Where's the "Apparently" from.

He was linked to Newcastle recently and forest were close to signing him but pulled out because the guy didn't wanna complete a medical claiming he was weighing up options.

    I didn't realise he was 29 though.

Well I only saw it through Rick Skelton's twitter feed. I'm guessing this has come out of the Greek media rather than a source over here.

Apparently he was all-set to join Forest a few weeks back but refused to have a medical so the deal fell through?

Here's a link, according to these reports like you said Tommy the word is coming from Greek media.

It's a little worrying that he's been close to signing for 3 clubs but still hasn't. On one hand that helps us because he might be a little eager now not to screw things up but on the hand he seems to be a little bit of a trouble maker. I do understand pulling out of Forest deal when you know Newcastle are sniffing but yeh...

His contract is running out. Probably need £2million

We're still being linked to his compatriot Guedioura which I would take in a flash.

This info also coming from Algerian news
    http://www.algerie360.com/sport/equipe-nationale-algerie/en-djebbour-negocie-avec-hull-city/

According to this , we bid on Tuesday, the bid is probably not high enough at the moment and they weren't meant to reveal which club it was from the PL but Greek papers revealed it was us. According to Greek press he'd be keen to join us but Olympiakos will be wanting more.

    We really need this kid.

If we do sign this kid, would that see Fryatt leaving on loan as well as getting rid of Mclean?

He was due for a medical at Florist but he turned it down. Apparently he wanted more wages.

Judging by the amount of money they're spewing this summer I suspect that his wage demands would probably go beyond your wage structure.

As we're contributing towards Jack Hobbs wages at Forest - that's highly unlikely.

not necessarily now he's got no more interest. if he sensed he could try and squeeze more from these mugs then he would try.
Also he could have been asking
for a lot because he wouldn't
    be playing in prem.

And Ramadan finishes in just over a week, so doesn't interfere with the season.

Was told this bloke has been hawked around to clubs by Olympiakos all summer. Obviously want rid for some reason or other.

Be a bit ironic if we end up with 2 Algerians; don't the Egyptians really dislike Algerians?

They can't dislike them that much if the Allams are willing to spend millions on them.

Well i've seen players worth around 30-40k per week be waved away by your fans for costing so much so i'd suggest something close to that.

Doesn't really matter what our fans think, more important is what the Allams & Bruce think. I'd guess we wouldn't want to give anyone more than £40k a week, but it's just that, a guess.

I think we've drawn the line at £30k a week, but again that's just an educated guess.
