Can i suggest that all the mods from both forums form a thread on the moderators forum to discuss and formulate a set of rules regarding the banning or non banning of contributions from our forum posters, it can be done in private and can not be disrupted by posters who may or may not be happy with the issues being discussed and you may even be given some ideas by other mods from other clubs, And as long as the outcome is agreed by all moderators from both boards these will have to be adhered to by both sets of fans. Mabon, I've no problem with setting some rules. These really are all ready in place, what's just needed is both sets of mods, to follow the same guidelines and hopefully we can put an end to all the pettiness and snipping.
To be honest the ones that do pop over aren't too bad, yes we all like a little wum now and again, but some with the name calling and being obscene then thats not on. Let's all hope we can live an let live.
Comment - Debate - Create / freely I don't see a set of rules being needed to be honest, we are all adults, we know what's unacceptable it doesn't need to be stuffed down anyone's throat. If someone is being a twat, tell them so, if they do it again then do what you feel is necessary. Bare in mind the last word 'freely' above, that is why people have come here after 606 was closed.
'Freely' is too loosely interpreted by some, Jager. I didn't come here for that reason either. I just sort of drifted....... IMHO, there is far too much stuff in one form or another which is not related to football - and thread derailment happens more often than not. Boring and irritating!! If I were a Mod I'd be totally ruthless and put a stop to it. I'm not interested in the verbal slanging matches that dominate many threads and a whole load of other nonsensical and unrelated s**t. However, I'm not a Mod and have no wish to be one. Consequently I try and support those who are, people who are prepared to give their time and energy in what is a pretty thankless task. My thanks to them because it is impossible for them to please everyone and they frequently get pelters because of it.
Trouble is, and it always has been, the kairdiff lot are a one way street, anything slightly questioning on issues, whether football related or not, gets rebuffed with abuse, and they just simply cannot handle the debate, and it's all down to their high minded attitutude that they are the bigger and better club, shame but true, and because of this they are due an almighty fall this season, just watch this space, and with 'Sam the man' back, you have a rather spicy setting for a rather eventful season down east!.........
The problem with that Ivor is you will have a forum devoid of life, the forum is about the users, whether they are good, bad or ugly. It's not about moderators or moderating.
Jager, for me, a football forum dedicated to football matters in general and the Swans in particular, would not be devoid of life. It's what I'm here for. Why should I be interested in the petty squabbles of people who don't get on? If I wanted that, I'd tune in to Jeremy Kyle. I don't do that either because I've got better things to do with my life. I respect the fact that other people have a different view, so I just get on with it. Fortunately, football is about to start again, so I'm hoping we'll all be concentrating on that instead of arguing amongst ourselves.
Heavy handed moderation doesn't work, people get more pissed off at that than any wind ups on the forum.

What a load of rubbish, these banters have been going back and foe since the internet was started, there is no need for outsiders to intervene and mind their own business, Its banter and a bit of fun and nothing else. stop making a mountain out of a molehill as you wont stop banter however much you try........see liverpool / man utd....sunderland /toon ...ipswich / norwich..rangers /celtic...are you going to intervene on their boards also...If you start this crap then you will be controlling what the welsh clubs can say and frankly it none of your business...go away... put this on the cardiff board also in response from the super mods
