The reason I presume Man City didn't go in is the same reason they didn't with Cavani..because of the FFP
So Falcao loses Morgan with pace and movement to score a tap-in, who'd have seen that coming. Easiest goal he'll ever score Proud.

Obviously? Quite surprised you lot watched it to be honest. Can't really see the attraction from anyone that doesn't follow Leicester or Monaco. Can't believe SKY showed it.
Monaco - different class. Thought Shmike was our MOTM. I wouldnt compare yourselves to Monaco though superhorns. Interesting that they didnt have one man who tore us apart. They passed better, closed down better and ran the channels better. Good work out though.
Not too disappointed to be honest - some pretty good performances from some of ours - but the difference was in the final third - incisive passing and precise finishing ... Wes wasn't at fault for Falcao's goal by the way ... watch the replay .., Falcao spins Whitbread (who I thought played well himself - pleasantly surprised) but Konchesky fails to go / pick up the winger coming through - Whitbread gets over fairly well but can't prevent the cross and each defender in turn is sucked across allowing Falcao to find the space at the far post ... I like the 3 at the back formation - De Laet and Bakayogo will be two of the quickest wing backs in the division on that evidence ...
Proud will have been expecting Morgan's immense pace would have allowed him to catch Falcao comfortably.
As I said Morgan will hold his own against Falcao and he did. Falcao didnt impress me at all Their number 15 was class. As for us I thought Whitbread was superb. Won his tackle, defended well, won his headers and took the ball out the back well and picked his passes Vardy's first touch let him down again, Drinkwater was completely off the pace
I think the formation will work but Nigel picked the wrong players to use it. If we persist with that next week and Nugent isnt fit I would like to see Danns and Knockaert come in for Drinkwater and Vardy
