cant see it anyway tbh. Arsenal have still got some pretty poor players in their team such as Mertesaker, Koscielny and Ramsey. In fact I think we have similar problems in that we have good attacking players such as Sturridge, Giroud, Suarez, Walcott and Coutinho but we bot have lightweight midfielders and defenders who cant actually defend. As things stand I see very little between the teams in terms of quality of players. Suarez moving might change that but it wont solve their problems in midfield or defense.
giroud is average. podolski went through all german options.... arsenal are decent but will not win anyhting without a bit of luck and actually TRYING for once. In short if suarez wants that fine but thats cos he thinks we are more like west ham than a top side frankly... lets be honest.... lets also be honest i nthat arsenal are only in cos they think nobody else wants him and they can get him for 40mil
Don't get it. Do some of these guys not watch any games outside their own team? He says it with such conviction too.
You know more about him than me but he's looked pretty poor whenever I've watched Arsenal. Point is Arsenal and Liverpool both have some good players mixed in with some crap ones.
You must have not watched him at this season then. As for the bolded part. Yes. Some truth to that. But bar Ramsey (who's improved and I'd place in the average category) & Giroud, the rest of the players in the first team are good. Can't say the same for Liverpool though. But you think there's very little between the two teams, even though they've comfortably finished ahead of you in the past few years. So be it.
hahaha I knew when I posted that, that you'd pipe up with the same old dreary bollocks on the issue. For the last time, the Spanish example has **** all relevance to the EPL, what the FA allegedly said to the 2 London clubs, also has no relevance either, as they DIDN'T have that conversation with us. The PL RULES of qualification for that season were clear & what happened was that those RULES were applied. You therefore had to go bleating to UEFA to get special dispensation - FACT. UEFA then made sure that it couldn't happen again post your failure to qualify that season - FACT.
There is clearly a gap between the two considering league position. I think most pn here would accept that considering the consensus is that Arsenal are an improvement for Luis, just npt as big a step as he should be aiming for. Having a manager in place for sixteen years (now seventeen) apose to us having a new man in charge would help. As would the difference in ownership etc.
They closed the Suarez thread on the Farcenal board But I'll post my quote from AST here instead I personally think we're fine in those areas, with the likes of Kelly, Wisdom, Sama, Toure, Agger, Skrtel, Coates for CB. For CDM we have Lucas, Gerrard, Alberto, Henderson and a few others that are fully capable of that role...I would like to see Agger given a chance at CDM as he's solid has a great passing range and loves to push forward when given the chance.
Out of interest if you had to pick an 11 from the Liverpool and Arsenal squads, what would it be? The rest of you feel free to join in

In goal Szczęsny. The defence will consist of Sagna, Koscielny, Agger & Gibbs. Midfield: Walcott, Lucas, Arteta, Wilshere, & Cazorla, while the left flank is up for grabs. Up front: Suarez.
Reina (Migs if Pepe's gone) Sagna Koscieny (sp) Agger Enrique Wilshire Gerrard Cazorla Coutinho Podolski Suarez Woyld be different if Arsenal had a keeper or LB!
