    Good stuff by Lewis, shame his performance for today will still mean nothing for Sunday when he goes backwards when that car eats his tyres.

    Seb looks more focused on the race pace with the performance they showed in FP2, expect to see another Germany where Seb will get Lewis off the line and run away like crazy.

    Great effort from Alonso. Outqualified Raikkonen, clean side of the grid and four tenths from pole at a track that doesn't suit the car.



    oh and.....

    HAMILTON IS THE BEST today, on all other occasions Alonso is the best.

    Ahhhh Seb sounding like he held back on purpose to preserve the tyres for Sunday, maybe a bit too much to miss out on the royal flush.

    Vettel did hold back at Silverstone Qualifying as he didn't want to have a tyre failure during the race like somebody else did...

    Talking of Vettel and the floor.... The floor of that red bull is at such a weird angle pointing towards the nose that I've never seen on F1 car. The rear is very high up
