Has anyone read this load of bollocks.http://www.brfcforum.co.uk/index.php?/topic/110688-most-overrated-player/ "Jeff Hughes, Junior Agogo, Nathan Ellington, Astafajevs, Stuart Campbell all over rated" you've got to be ****ting me do these muppets go to games or do they just like to stir **** up but they still go on about that violent thug Pipe who really was a bag of **** I know a lot didn't rate Hughes but did they ever see him in away games in his first season he was the best player and it wasn't long ago that Astafajevs was a Gas now he's over rated it boggles the mind it really does.
I am sure that they go to some games however they are the ones who take there knitting,do not understand the game, make banal crass comments about players laughable really. Astafajevs was a class player in a team at the time who did not perform to there capabilities, his ability to pick out a pass or player, was a joy to watch like every player he was not always on his game or on the same wave length as some of the strikers. Should really have been playing for a higher league team not us at the time. As for Pipe (disagree with your assesment Gmange) my view is he was an all or nothing type of player no great finess just played where the manager told him to play and if the opposition took any of his teammates out with a bad tackle he sorted them out a real old style enforcer every team needs a pipe type player to carry out the dirty stuff to allow the more skillfull players opportunities to win games. Hughes was I agree a good player perhaps a little inconsistent at times but often if he did not play well the team flopped. COR
