FIA: "We're going to ban all non-essential staff from the pit lane"
____Wait 3 Weeks_______________
"Oops, did we say that? Sorry, we're not"

<doh>

Such a mess, I think I posted the Will Buxton blog outlining how much of a farce the rule-change was when it was first announced, and now they've completely undone any remaining extra rules that they originally imposed. Ridiculous. Do we need an "FIA fail thread", or like the BBC, have we now given up all hope?

They implicate themselves enough without us needing a special thread :)

It is another case of just how small a pair of cahooneys the FIA have

Massa: “It’s going to be a very hot weekend and if you ask what suits us best, I would say the heat, so if the car works well, we should expect to have a good race pace and therefore race on the attack not on the defence"

I think a thread where we can collect and discuss the myriad failings of Todt and his cronies in one place is a good idea. Would you like to do it or shall I?

maybe a general F1 fail thread

Red Bull have this race easily won. Too easy for Vettel. I'm happy I won't be able to watch the race.

It's great for Red Bull and Vettel fans, looking like a foregone conclusion for them. Hopefully, qualifying and the race will throw up some excitement, or at least a bit of controversy to discuss during the next four weeks.

Well we can thank Pirelli for ruining this season. All because Red Bull moaned about the tyres and now look who they suit the most... :(
