I was going perfectly okay until you and your mini-me bed-chum came along with your digs and personal attacks.

Even when you are, supposedly, making a footballing comment you still can't help but to have a pop!

Please try to go at least one whole day on the Chelsea board without mentioning my name or having any kind of snidey indirect pops.

You mean that clause I told the Chelsea board about 2 months ago and was laughed at saying how ridiculous it was? Yeah, that one. I said he had no release clause of 40mill, just a talk clause.

Anyway, Suarez hasn't actually openly stated he'd like to join Arsenal. Real, yes. Arsenal, no. I have no doubt he'll be off, but Arsenal would surprise me as they offer him only part of one thing he wants; CL football, but just a token entry and no progression within it. He's angling for a move to Madrid and, imo, he's happy with the Arsenal interest to try force Real's card. They'll offer less - we'd probably consider it.

Point of the thread: Probably say Arsenal are currently the bigger club - although the longer they go without winning anything, they risk losing appeal amongst the fickle foreigners who follow the winning teams.

Has this clause been OFFICIAL verified now then? Or are you just hoping it is true?

Not official I believe. Quasi-official due to reports.

So you've told us about an clause that may or may not be true? Such foresight.

Indie are reporting that Suarez and his agent will encourage the PL to take up the case in order to let him move to Arsenal as they are adamant that the £40m figure is a release clause <ok>

  9. Did you never play the clown at school, Ozzie? Saying outrageous things to make 'em laugh? I bet you did. In fact, I bet you still like to put on the make-up and those size 42 shoes and have a play with that rubber plank.

We're no different, you and I.

This is a prime example of why wit doesn't visit your ******ed brain. Your concept of of the latter is a mystery known only to you. I've remained constant throughout Herbert and like Piskie I seek only to highlight your stupidity. Make a horses arse out of yourself as much as you like son if that's your forte but your are a twat foremost and the biggest forum wum by far.

I'm quite happy for you to continue being the back end of the pantomime horse as long as you do it on your own ****ty board with those who are tedious enough to enjoy your particular brand of self denigration. Take the hint son and jump before you are pushed. <ok>

A while back, a bunch of people jumped on my back for saying the 40mill release clause wasn't a release clause; it was a speak to clause - for whatever reason that exists.

We rejected a 40mill bid. Thus, a 40mill release clause is proven not to exist. I don't see what other evidence you require.

So unless the person who writes those silly contracts forgets what he puts in them, I'd say it's proven - Liverpool will know their contracts since they wrote the damn things and Suarez's agent is just trying to find loop holes (the loop hole part could be considered hoping, but it's an intelligent assumption).

Suarez and his agent claim though that they have written and verbal assurances that the figure is a release clause. According to the Indie, they are so confident of this that they are willing to take it to a PL tribunal to force the move.

I was one of the ones to dismiss the clause; if you were right fair play.

Still seems a little unclear though as Piskie has pointed out and I literally fail to see the point of such a clause ever existing.

    Wait and see i guess.

Oh you mean the piece that was written in madrid by a reporter who hasn't got a quote from any of the interested parties. Yeh! sure a great piece of objective journalism. If that's what you pining your hopes on then I won't even try to disappoint you.
