Arsenal are currently a more attractive proposition than Liverpool. Whilst I'm sure that takes some swallowing for a kopite to admit, it's a straightforward fact. They have made a decision to invest heavily this window & Suarez at £40m+ would a massive statement of intent & would no doubt be the catalyst for other acquisitions.
Last 10 games, 8 wins, 2 draws. Sounds like a downward spiral to me. Be careful you may end up like AVB. And how exactly are we going to finish lower than 4th WITH Suarez when we finished on a higher points tally without him? Don't say Sp*rs have strengthened either, they have not brought in anybody who will drastically improve their side in the areas they need it most.

I expect Arsenal to navigate the qualifier but it is still not 100% certain they will. I honestly have nothing against Suarez wanting to play in the best tourneys but I am just a bit pissed off because his hopes of winning the damn CL are bob and none with Arsenal, going on Arsenal's record in the tourney anyways, not slating Arsenal it's just a reference to form. Mind you, he's not gonna win it with us I just expected him to want to go where he has a decent shot at CL success.
My view on Suarez has never changed - the man's a grade 'A' prick & always will be, BUT he's a great footballer. Arsenals problem last season was scoring goals, they domnated many games but never killed the opposition off, defensively they were largely sound & only City conceded fewer goals, so you're a million miles away (yet again) mate

Reading that idiot Rodger's latest comments, it seems this delusion stems all the way down to their manager. It is embarrassing. The lack of class emanating from the club is cringe-worthy. Even though Arsenal were gutted last year with RVP, I can't remember Wenger and co attacking Man U as a club. Look at the whole season. There are patches last season when we outplayed everybody but that didn't change our final position. The ONLY reason that you sneaked 4th was because the Spuds cocked it up. Arsenal are a step up from us. Not as big as a step up as people think, but they are. Every player wants to play in the CL and compete at the top end of the table, you can't blame them for being ambitious. We're on the way up but we're not there yet, Suarez is 26, nearing his peak, and Arsenal are consistently in the CL, and let's be honest, with Suarez they more than likely going to stay there unless us or Spurs pull off some great signings. Players don't show the same loyalty to clubs as the fans to do them, I'm sure he loves the club here but he'll do whatever he thinks best for him. Not that there's any evidence of him wanting to switch to Arsenal but we can't blame him if he did, it's the way of football now. With that said, Rodgers has to put our club first, and the only price that is valid is the valuation of the selling club. He has three years left on his contract, if Arsenal want him they have to pay the asking price, Suarez is our best asset and if FSG are serious about getting us back in to the CL they have to hold out for the best possible deal.

I think most people (other than Arsenal fans) would agree with him. Whats the point in leaving for a club whose sole ambition in the last decade has been finishing 4th? It wouldn't be big step up, even if Arsenal have a slighty better team. Play another season, behave and play well and perhaps Real will come in for him dont forget he's already stated publicly thats the move he wants.

AS I said to dubbed clown.. Losing to Norwich conceding 3 v the likes of fulham and 2 against Swans as well as conceding several goals v poor CL teams. They have leaked goals against poor teams and those goals nearly cost them CL football.
