Look at the whole season. There are patches last season when we outplayed everybody but that didn't change our final position. The ONLY reason that you sneaked 4th was because the Spuds cocked it up. Arsenal are a step up from us. Not as big as a step up as people think, but they are. Every player wants to play in the CL and compete at the top end of the table, you can't blame them for being ambitious. We're on the way up but we're not there yet, Suarez is 26, nearing his peak, and Arsenal are consistently in the CL, and let's be honest, with Suarez they more than likely going to stay there unless us or Spurs pull off some great signings.

Players don't show the same loyalty to clubs as the fans to do them, I'm sure he loves the club here but he'll do whatever he thinks best for him. Not that there's any evidence of him wanting to switch to Arsenal but we can't blame him if he did, it's the way of football now.

With that said, Rodgers has to put our club first, and the only price that is valid is the valuation of the selling club. He has three years left on his contract, if Arsenal want him they have to pay the asking price, Suarez is our best asset and if FSG are serious about getting us back in to the CL they have to hold out for the best possible deal.

Losing to Norwich conceding 3 v the likes of fulham and 2 against Swans as well as conceding several goals v poor CL teams. They have leaked goals against poor teams and those goals nearly cost them CL football.
