You lose loyalty bonuses & such if you hand in a transfer request, which probably means it'll only happen as a last resort.

True but surely, if and a big if, we got talked into adding a clause the way Suarez & agent view: actual release clause we'd have at least put in a line that says you have to officially ask for a transfer & lose the loyalty bonus. I mean they meet the figure but Suarez doesn't have to agree to go so has to say at some point "I want to transfer" Otherwise it's not actually a loyalty bonus: it's just free money... So until I hear an official transfer request I'm betting on agent smoke & mirrors because he's got no other leverage.

Bernard is very close to a move with Porto I hear. Not surprised considering the close ties between Brazil and Portugal (culture wise) but also Bernard is owned by an agency (BMG - or summat like that) who have worked with Porto before so a close relationship already exists. Porto will probably sign him for 20m and sell him for 100m in 3 years time - such is their ability at making profit on players.
he said specifically shaktar and proto so i reckon those were the only ones he considered. I'd be suprised porto can afford the fee... wh odid they sell this year?
