No Idea what he's gone for. Maybe their chairman is doing a Harry and speaking before it's done? Who knows, I'm glad it's been quick, can move on. But people have to realise it's better he's gone if he wanted to go.

The transfer request would have waived his right to a loyalty bonus hence making the transfer an acceptable level of offer. Personally I'm gutted about it. I think he'll be great business for them. Yes, he's not the most technically gifted player in the world but he showed what a player and influence he can be in this division.
Redknapp is making a right ****ing mess at the moment. Gets rid of DJ and Mackie were both keepers and he's mishandled Adel. Plenty of the window left but we are lacking creativity and goals at the moment. We're in danger of regularly having a midfield of Park, Henry (sadly not Thierry), Jenas and SWP!!!!! **** me that's awful While the Hooper deal not coming off is not his or anyone else at the clubs fault, the players leaving and those arriving aren't improving us and he's looking a bit of a dinosaur at the moment and a bad judge of ability and character. I hope Austin is a done deal because its looking a bit of a shambles a the moment.
One of the few that has a good work ethic. Thought this is the type of player we want. Surprised. Would prefer him any day over SWP. Maybe Barton is earmarked for the right or possibly Park. Heaven help us.

Now thats how you do business, complete a deal in an afternoon. Its pretty obvious a player is only interested in money if they drag it out for weeks.

There are at least half a dozen who should have gone before him. We wont be needing under performing primadonas in this league, we need fighters and grafters who play and wear the shirt with pride. For the first time I fear for the coming season. From where Im sitting the club looks a complete mess.
Not sure about the goal scorer part. But he runs - is that why everyone thinks he is so good. Yes he tries but we need more than that unless we want to spend the next 15 years in the championship mid table again. These transfers which are supposedly 'developing' according to TF need to hurry up!
