    We shouldn't be jumping to conclusions but better to have the game played and points on the board rather than the game in hand.
    I read that Mata and Co will maybe miss the Hull game so will be all fresh for Villa.

    Match fitness is crucial in August, I'm very pleased we have back-to-back games. Means we will undoubtedly approach the game in better shape than United and most probably be ahead of them going into the game thus giving us a psychological edge.

    Villa are no mugs and will want to avenge last season but I don't think they'll fancy Stamford Bridge midweek.

    Fingers crossed, delighted we get this out the way before the CL campaign starts though <ok>

    Our pre season games in Asia will have the squad well fit for seasons start. So 3 quick games with some clever selections should hopefully get us off to a flying start. Lets hope so.
