Interesting relegation views here, for me you can't look much further than the 3 promoted teams. The Hull board is normally a good laugh, they're all pretty convinced they'll stay up, mainly down to the "crossing ability" of Ahmed El Mohammedy, which they think will allow Danny Graham to score goals. You couldn't make it up......

Its how we stayed up last season and the season before. Hopefully not this year.

Nothing wrong in thinking your team will stay up. They've made some good signings, so it's not beyond possibilities

Graham isn't a particularly skilful player but he knows where the goal is.Sunderland was a bad fit and the Mackems hated him for being a Geordie.I wouldn't bet against Bruce getting 12-15 goals out of him.Yes the promoted teams are the more likely to get relegated but I would be surprised if there wasn't one club in the mix who are not considered at risk.

It's not the styl of play I was knocking, it's the players who will be executing it.

I'd knock the style ahead of the players to be honest.

You can't have seen a very balanced thread, most of us are quite happy with our signings and think we've got good value for money so far, but agree we definitely need at least a couple more.

Of course other teams are going to see us as one of the favourites for relegation, the promoted clubs nearly always are but surely you should know as well as any that you don't need big names to stay up. Elmo and Graham may not be stars or even established Premier League players but Elmo's crossing last season was very good and Graham certainly has the ability to score 10-15 in this league as he showed at Swansea. Don't get me wrong, we'll be in a scrap but it would seem a little odd to knock our fans for having a certain degree of optimism that we could survive.

Of the promoted sides I think Hull have definitely made the best signings this summer without question, if you can add Palacios and Bendtner then you will have done well. It's obviously going to be tough for you, but I think you've got a chance of beating the drop. I hope you do, always been a big fan of Stevie Bruce <ok>

We have to remember that the 2 seasons we have been back in the Prem only 1 promoted team has been relegated in their first season. The current 3 do seem a little less prepared for the top flight but then many said the same about us an Swansea 2 years ago.

I just can't see it i'm afraid, Graham got found out at Sunderland, and your fullbacks will probably only get 2/3 chances to get the ball into the box per game. If you can do it then fair play and good luck to you.

I love foreign players, but I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.

Neither would I this season, but I definitely would have had the both in our first season up, that's why I think they would be good signings for Hull.

I don't think Graham got found out, he was in a tired old fashioned team unsuitable for him.

I wanted us to sign him in January, looking back I think he'd of struggled because we were not that dissimilar to Sunderland in attacking style.

No, more the long and wide crosses and lack of working the ball from side to side and the lack of playing wingers into position.

Fulham now have Taraabt and Berbatov. That's the sort you want when you're battling the drop. :emoticon-0136-giggl Off to put a tenner on them going down - they'll be the new Koo Pee arr

To be honest, Berbatov is probably a great player for Taarabt to learn from. Berba never struck me as the arrogant type. He just has the "lazy" personna. If he taught Taarabt a thing or 2 that'd be a dangerous combination

Never rated Taraabt myself, never seen him turn up against us at least. With the lower quality of the bottom half of the prem, combined with the confidance and energy of newly promoted teams, I would be very suprised to see all 3 promoted teams go back down. It really is all to play for now if you can get the momentum and some early wins. Fulham need to go, wouldn't mind seeing Liverpool have a relegation battle either lol

This, on the BBC page really tells me all I need to know about Taraabt, the mindset.
