We all know that Moyes isn't going to last at United, and that it's merely a question of time as to when they get shot of him. The United board was very careful to stress that he'd be given time to make it work for him at United, but the fact of the matter is that it would be difficult enough for a manager the caliber of Mourhino, or Pepe, or Hiddinck to follow in Fergie's shoes and keep United competitive season in and season out; Moyes hasn't a ghost of a chance, and any United fan who thinks he has is truly deluded. I think Moyes will be lucky if he can see out one whole season with United. The real question, then, will be: who will United, in its utter desperation, turn to for it new manager. One thing will be absolutely for certain, that they won't chance their luck on another no-mark like Moyes; they'll have to turn to someone with a proven record, and there are not too many of those around.
I wouldn't be too disappointed with 3rd, if we made a serious challenge for the title, along with a strong run in the FA cup and CL. Anyways, apparently RVP will be fit to play in the next game and was taken out as a precaution.
I'm not saying it was made up, I'm saying it is utterly meaningless given the bloke who said it. And who has said it about other clubs in Britain managed by other managers. And yet remains without a job, for all his obvious brilliance. Great thread though, you simpletons love this **** to get you through the day, eh?
