On Saturday evening just after me and the new wife had driven off, my brother phoned me, for some reason I answered and he started talking about Saints winning 8-0 and Guly scoring a hat trick. I think he was pretty pissed.

I did wonder if they topped up the coals...nice that they did it for the media team. Don't want them reporting it was a cinch, do we?

1.Arsenal discover reason why the atmosphere at the Emirates has been a little wooden to say the least. 2. Saints coaching staff play it safe as JayRod lines up a free-kick in training.
Southampton Football Club on Twitter: "This morning's training session is now over and the Saints squad are back at the team hotel ahead of tonight's game."
Presume they counted them out and counted them back...Gaston, we can see you hiding in the hedge! Reminded me of when we gained promotion from League 1. A guy at the players' entranceturned to Nige () and said, 'I've counted them back...there are still two out there.' At that moment Kelvin came through the entrance just wearing shorts and a huge grin.
I think that was Sibley! Yeah I remember that, Kelvin trudging down the tunnel. Chamberlain was out there for a while too. My personal favourite remains promotion from the Championship and the guy knighting Rickie with the umbrella.

Love to know what that last sequence was about...all sorry for the blond bloke, then sniggering behind his back. Hit him with a ball I suppose.
Probably more to do with the team-bonding event the media team didn't cover. All-in-no-holds-barred-naked-wrestling. Boruc had Cortese in a boston crab and Nicola refused to tap out... "I submit to NO ONE" was the last thing he said before the crack of bone.
I presume they know what Boruc can do and want to see out of Kelvin and Gazza, who should play second-string to Boruc. It's time for Gazzaniga to prove himself, and time for Kelv to show he can continue to play at a reasonable level still.
Lots of debate about Adam Lallana across the Saints forums, I still think he's one of our best players. People seem to have forgotten that his early performances last season earned him an England call up, if he can get a good period with no injuries I'll think he'll improve dramatically. As well as that, it's also lovely to have an academy graduate as our premier league captain, he epitomises what Saints should be all about.
