I think he's taking the piss. Maybe our feelings expressed in the form of a poll will help to focus his greedy mind.
Maybe I'm just old fashion but as I've stated on another thread, this guy has shown his true colours and so has Green. Green is should be our first choice keeper and Cesar should only get a run if Green is injured. Cesar may be a better keeper but my loyalties are now with Green because he has stated his desire to stay with us. Cesar, the complete opposite. For what they were offering he should of gone to Arsenal and his family would not be disrupted by moving, etc. With Arsenal. there are many valid reasons to help his cause to the next world cup but he seems to have declined their offer ................. just wanting the best of both worlds .................. pure greed.
I question Green's motives. He must feel that he was badly treated by QPR. He won't get the same money elsewhere is probably closer to the truth.
Green seems able to come to terms with his treatment under hughes, where others hold a grudge against the club. I think green may have limited options but will ocupy the morale high ground for most the season if he carries on the way he going. Take note Barton.
All I care about is how he performs if he plays for us. If he gives 100% then great. Unfortunately we view all of these players from our position as loyal long standing fans. Rare for that to be the case for the player unless you're a bircham or a Gallen. If as a Ranger you had the talent to play pro football and wound up playing for a team relegated to say Spanish 2nd tier would you be desperate to show undying loyalty and give up a wad of cash or seek the best deal you can secure for you and your family?
Arsenal back in for Julio, apparently. He's just a pro, maximizing his income. Madness to expect him to have any loyalty to us, but apart from his Chelsea shirt faux pas I think he has handled himself with dignity. It was a pleasure to be able to see him play for us, even if he wasn't always on top form. His performance against City at home was a masterclass in world class standard goalkeeping.
