Instead of spending £25million on Fellaini, Moyes should send Phil Neville down to Homebase to get one of these for RVP. £55, bargain.

I've read a few posts on here saying our wingers did well with the number of crosses last season, they may have put a lot of crosses in but most of the ones I saw didn't come close to any of our attackers so it's harsh to claim that it was the strikers fault for not making more of them. Anyone can punt a cross 30 yardsabove a players head, it's not the players fault he can't jump supernaturally high.

Our wingers need a serious realitiy check before next season starts because on last years form anyone of them could be sold.

if our players can wear an armor too while taking the ladder, we will be more physical too just like Fellaini <laugh> .. and voila, a 25m is saved .. Brilliant mate <ok>
just wonder why our ex manager never thought of that before <whistle>

He didn't have to contend with FFP. This is innovative stuff I'm putting forward.

for a team who haven't many attacking players with aerial ability , I think they did well in term of crosses, our strikers are not the type of people who can climb high or push players to get the ball first like Fellaini or crouch , it is much more harder to service our type of strikers facing the giants defenders that most PL clubs are having. our strikers demand much more accurate crosses than other clubs

yeahh must have been teams taking crouch for his ball skills ability? <doh>
no wonder why RVP scored 5 headers in PL compared to 35 by Crouch ?
or Rooney 12 headers compared to 45 by Dion Dublin ..
it must be bcz they have better quality crossers .. better than alike of Giggs and co ? right? <ok>

with everything that goes over your head you must feel like you're in a permanent draft.

EDIT: at least you know how RVP felt last season. Badoomtish, I'm here all week.

Out strikers may need more accurate crosses or they may not, but it's up to the person crossing the ball to pick out the attacker, if his cross goes several feet over the attackers head it's a poor cross. I also saw a number of occasions when a cross was put in and the nearest attacker was no where near the box, it's head down syndrome, the wingers need to look up more and see where our attackers actually are before they just whip the ball accross. As far as our attackers being good in the air is concenred, RVP isn't exactley bad in the air and Hernandez is great in the air and Wellbeck seems decent enough, it's only really Rooney who can't get as high.

I didn't say that. If he's a good enough midfielder then Moyes should sign him. I don't think we should be signing a midfielder for his heading ability though. We're not Dave Bassett's Wimbledon.

agree wingers need to send more accurate cross, but is not an easy task to do
look to our best crosser which is Giggs, but even with his quality in crossing, he can't get them inch perfect all the time, you need some help from your strikers to push thier way at times, and you can see the difference people like Crouch or Fellaini or carroll give our defenders not bcz of qulaity of crosses but bcz of their physicality and aerial ability.. how many crosses from Giggs have been translated to goals last season by our strikers?

Ryan Giggs is a fairly useless crosser actually. And useless at corners. Very often hitting his first defender as he acts like they aren't there.

He's improved marginally over the last couple of years but otherwise you are way off.

ok ignore Giggs although i disagree, last season Valencia was no.3 in term of successful crosses according to Opta stats
