£20m from the CL, £12.5m for Wanyama and £5m for Hooper and what do we do? Take an ex-Crystal Palace midfielder on trial!

    Get some ****ing money spent.

Got this off the QPR board...

Something else on SSN: Andre Moritz was one of the stars of Crystal Palace's promotion campaign last season, but couldn't agree a new deal at Selhurst Park and is available on a free transfer. Sky sources understand he's been offered a trial at Celtic. Bolton are also known to be keen on the Brazilian attacking midfielder.

Aye, he's probably a decent player but how many trialists have we had over the past few years? Too ****ing many.

Aye, I expect to see us bringing in a £3m+ striker to replace Hooper. I hear Kevin Doyle's available...

Do you think they will buy before you qualify for the CL group stages ? I'd hate to be them if they don't and then you fail to qualify

It's a nice situation to be in. Cash burning a hole in your pocket and a potential European adventure ahead.

    Enjoy Stenhousemuir away.

the problem i see with hooper going is lennon's record on strikers. been pretty pish poor. bangura, miku, brozek etc. I would rather have seen us throw hooper some big bucks given his proven track record.

I wouldn't be surprised if we only spent some cash if champions league football was in the bag. hopefully i am wrong...

I wish brozek was good because then we could have had load of fun times pulling out pictures of him with text over it saying "cool story brozek"

A blind man throws enough darts at the board, he will eventually hit a bullseye.

Last sentence is probably true, but to be fair, maybe the right striker would wait till we definitely have CL games where he can shp window himself. Striker who would come simply to play in the SPL would be worrying.

Hopefully, the club have someone in mind. Another aspiring GH would be alright.
