A bit of a training stint for our boys, Malky trying all his options.

I don't think we see our best side until our home friendlies

<laugh>.....we are getting all the fking peanuts over here now..........oh ffsshutthefkupdullcunt

And it's not only us ****ting ourselves after this performance Dave

In our training stint last year with FGR we lost but were too good for the Championship, top of the league from November. I'm not going to say we will win the Prem just like I did not say we were in trouble last year.

It's a friendly / training stint get over it.

Given the amount of attacking players bougut by the PL clubs, I'm expecting another season of crazy scores.

Being one of the 600+ travelling City fans tonight i`m gonna have a sneeky tenner on FGR to win that league they are in , our defence needs sorting big time but we did put out two different sides out there tonight , one in each half .
Noone looked sharp as a knife but Conway not up to this challenge even ,Joe went off after only 12 mins on the pitch???? and their keeper had a good game stopping and turning over the bar good efforts .

On another note and if you were there the away support were brill as usual but i. would say 95% wore blue and the songs about being blue were echoing round the ground .....

JH

Hell guys how did you let a none league side put 3 past you? ok it was a friendly, but if that had been a Prem team, you'd have conceded 10 goals, your defence is crap! no-wonder 'Sam the man' is going on about a major overhaul!..................<ok>

Is just pre-season, results mean very little - is all about giving the squad a run out and assessing strengths and weaknesses! Our first Prem pre-season threw up some very strange results, but they had no bearing on how we did in the league. MM will use these fixtures to try out combinations, just as Brenda did our first year in the EPL! Is not about winning or losing, but putting the squad through their paces! Blue, red, pink, lime green with yellow spots - it means f all!! Is just a shirt and the colour means nothing - it's the players that wear it that are important! <cheers>
