It's worth mentioning here that both CJS and I have met BSS and had good conversations about this forum with him. He is very aware of us and frequently has a read of the articles. He is very approachable and keen to hear from the fans. So don't hold back! Make your views and opinions known here or through the links.
How about we have our own radio station at the Uwe Stadium so we don't have to put up with the bias of Radio Bristol
Last week Bristol Rugby Club handed out free tickets for primary school children for the Blackthorn end. It was a good marketing exercise because two small boys, their father an me attended the match. It cost us £32 because we didn't feel comfortable to let two under tens go to the match on their own. I would like to take them to a proper match to watch the Gas. Also I would prefer to get them up in the stand so that they can see the match properly. At present that means my day out with them will cost over £50, travelling included. Let alone the extras that small boys seem to need nowadays! Is it not possible for certain matches to extend the 'kids for a quid' offer on a more regular basis, or even reduce the charge for the under tens. After all these are the fans of the future. It's not often that a child changes allegance from the club where he/she experienced a professional football match for the first time.
Hi Just keep the ideas coming and they will all be passed on. Once all the formal paperwork is sorted then we can look at all the ideas in detail. I will keep you informed about progress! Best wishes Brian
more curry pies be good. always runs out by half time! the chocolate is just mars, snickers and twix. the 3 i hate! so the meal deals i been giving my chocolate away lol
to go along with the above, i presume there will be a concourse where you leave your seat to get a drink and food ect at the back, meal deals are working and i hope is included in the new stadium. also what be good is if the food is affordable. so many new ground where i have been the price are ridiculously high! also hearts in the scottish prem have a great idea which i hope we consider.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-21640720 "Hearts fans are being given the chance to jump the pie queue - by placing orders through their smartphones. The club has developed a mobile app that allows supporters to place orders and have food and drink delivered to their seat. It said its Tynecastle stadium would be the first in the UK to provide such as service." How great will that be!
the club should own 1 of these for uwe and charge everyone who wants to play just £1 for 3 pens and the chance to compete with other gasheads as its stores your name and personal details and teh number of points scored from your pens and say the winner at the end of the season wins £100 or a free season ticket for the next season or free signed rovers shirt etc etc there are better standard penalty shootout simulators. i have tried one before and was a great laugh. Chaps - just read through this thread and it's great that you have a Director taking the time to listen to your views. Good luck with the new ground - it will be brilliant if one day Bristol has 2 stadiums to be proud of (whether ours is Ashton Gate or Ashton Vale).
Brian, can we nail JJOT to a cross and show him off outside the mem. Could make the club some money if we market it correctly
