I didn't see any of the game, but if we can't roll over a half baked German side we may as well give up. I mean they are called 04 for a reason as that's what they get beat by most weeks. We must be crap. Pochettino out! Cortes out! Sell Rickie!
Sky Sports sent Jim White to Austria to report on the game. They're putting together a special feature on the game. Features interviews with the players and an interview with Nicola Cortese.
No, I'm afraid not. I'm not sure how long they're filming for. If it was just today, I'd expect tomorrow or Friday. But I can't claim to know, sorry.
Back in the day nobody got much info on friendlies, even the score line was hard to come by. Now, with the intense social media its all examined in microscopic detail but it's still a friendly - a training exercise. Result win or lose means absolutely nothing

But you lot keep telling us that we are aiming for the Champions League and its attainable. You have brow beaten postitivity into me and when we lose a game, I'm crestfallen, because if we are so good, we can not lose. But we do lose. Oh I've aimed for the stars and I've landed flat on my face! Actually, that might make a good tag line for Saints marketing dept, I shall suggest it for a billboard at St Mary's forthwith.
Looking at the line ups he was paired up with Davis in midfield so would of likely taken the more defensive Cork role in midfield.
Never understood why no matter how many times you try and hammer the line 'its only a friendly' into peoples minds they still think a loss and a few bad performances is a reason to panic. Bournemouth lost 6-0 to Real Madrid, perhaps they should just give up now and accept relegation, after all we lost 2-0 to a champions league side so that's the season over for us. Sorry for sounding melodramatic, but I've never had any reason to think a pre-season game makes any difference to the season before now so I don't see why I should change that.
Yep of course, he was very much anchoring and covering for the full-backs, I'm sure when he's partnering Schneiderlin they will alternate going forwards. Problem with Wanyama is that you both want him up the pitch because of his strength and ability to travel with the ball and his aerial threat once he's in the box, but he's also fairly natural at covering the defensive positions so is ideal to anchor and cover. Obviously a balance will be struck but it will be important how this balance is struck. On that note would like to see a lot more of Schneiderlin and Wanyama as well as Lovren and Yoshida on the pitch at the same times in the last three friendlies, those will be very important partnerships for us this season and would be nice for them to get a lot of time together in game situations before the season starts.
Not to mention Gaston. Yes, Wanyama was very much playing the defensive role tonight and you could see that he was 'playing to instruction' in that sense.
I honestly do not understand what everyone is complaining about. No-one has panicked of said we've turned into a rubbish team over night, people are just discussing the details of the match. A couple of players made preventable errors. That's all anyone has said. It doesn't make them bad players!
