Yes seems Drinkwater has fallen way down the pecking order. (please no rumours of a rift with Nigel or shagging his daughty PLEASE!! lol) Happy to see Danns back in there, could be an important player if he gets his head down and cements a place in midfield for us. Like a new signing.
Im still not convinced Drinkwater was one of the 7 players listed. He would be pretty easy to shift if it was the case Very good player and not on big wages. Drinkwater missed the first 2 friendlies as his dad was in hospital according to Nigel Pearson. Drinkwater is still a very good player its just his form slipped at the same time Andy King and Matty James found their form
Not sure where 'the list' originated from ... but it was quoted in several places (including other clubs that had been made aware of it - think Dickov mentioned it in relation to Wellens) and Drinlwater was always the last name on it ... that SSL and Danns are still getting games would suggest that there may be some flexibility - particularly as SSl had previously admitted to having been told he could look for a new club ...

i listened on the radio and we managed to keep a clean sheet with tom hopper (academy striker) at CB!
So City play Monaco tommorow so do we trial to 532 formation or do we go to the tried and tested 442, if Nigel does want to play 532 once the season starts this game will be a big test for the formation. I personally dont think we can play 532 as we dont have the centre backs to do it unless Liam Moore comes in for Zak Whitbread
I think Falcao will tear us a new one regardless Shame I can't make it, will have to settle watching it in a pub with a few beers
Wes will hold his against Falcao because of his size and speed Whitbread, St. Ledger and Moore will get destroyed St. Ledger has the international experience of dealing with world class strikers going in his favour
Come on Proud the entire team will be bent over by Falcao. Our saving grace is that Monaco's defence (Abidal aside) is still Ligue 2 standard.
Pre season friendly againat Monaco my arse ... this is how the pampered ponces ought to be preparing for the new season... http://bentleysroof.magnify.net/video/Jock-Wallaces-Hill-2;search:WALLACE£
We will see tommorow I think Knockaert will be well up for the game tommorow. Monaco will win the midfield battle and test our backline but apart from that I dont think they are up to much.
Sorry, totally forgot they signed Champions League, Premier League and La Liga winner Ricardo Carvalho
