That's right situ sess will be the mastermind of our team and he should now be plaid with kid gloves and looked after we now have other players and we don't need to over work him
I will go one step further he is the best skilful player I have ever seen in a Sunderland shirt.now some one tel me who was better
I'm not gonna touch on the Sess thing, as I think everyone knows what I think on the lad and I was bordering on gay in my compliments toward him on the match thread What I will say, the trim part, absolutely, all of the lads looked in banging shape, Gardner was another one that stood out, I've never thought he was carrying weight, just assumed him stocky, but he was streamlined to **** today. I'm massively impressed by Di Canio's coaching methods, more so that he's got the players buy in, including a few that we never thought had the stomach for it. I think the players respect and like the gaffer, this generation of players, he was one of the stand outs in the Premier League when they were aspiring pro's, I reckon it's gone massively in our favour. Di Canio the player was a passionate, aggressive match winner, and if we get Johnson, Sess, Giacc etc in that mindset we will win a lot of games, and maybe win back some neutral fans who we've lost through being dour for a few years. I would wish away my life for it to be Fulham on Saturday, I've never had this genuine belief and excitement for a season.
Giaccherinin isn't really a skill player mate, not in the same league in that department. As Teeside says, him & Steed are a league apart in terms of skill & finesse.
Whats to disagree? Skill isn't Giaccherini's game mate, not at all. He's a controlled footballer with great movement, feet and passing, he isn't a lad who's gonna do stepovers etc, he's not that sort. Sess whips him on that score, no question.
as said before sess was the most fouled player in the prem last season, if we can get the set plays right this will pay dividends
Skilful was the word mate, 'most skilful we've seen', hance Sess & Steed. The best player at the club if you really break it down, well, we'll see.
