Latest rumour coming out of the #LFC camp is that Luis Suarez has personally rejected a move from Arsenal. Madrid remain quiet.

#LFC have made Alexis Sanchez their main target should Suarez leave.

Luis clearly doesn't realize what we're building here.

Speaking of which! He's done it again! <laugh>

The support Liverpool commands worldwide has been emphasised throughout the summer tour by the sheer number of fans who have turned out in Jakarta and now Melbourne.

And while Rodgers knows there is consequently added pressure to succeed, he insists he is relishing the challenge of taking the Reds back to the top.

"We're trying to build something here," said the boss. "But when you're at a club of this size, you expect there to be pressure to succeed and that comes with being the manager of Liverpool.

I watch Barcelona quite a lot and Alexis does not fit their style at all. He is brainless.

However, he is still a dangerous player and I would love to have him at LFC! However, if Martino taking charge at Barca, I think he may keep Sanchez (South American connection)?

Soldado and Alexis to come in and replace Suarez? Not bad ...

Would take that in a heartbeat. Easy decision for me. Probably have money to spare as well from it.

Aspas, LA, Ibe, Sterling, Downing, Hendo. Can't say we would not have any options up front or AM.

No clue, just putting it out there. I can see the truth in Alexis though, that has been around for a while now.

Can't see us landing Sanchez, still highly rated and I'd imagine there would be other buyers in the CL.

and with Soldado, Sturridge, Aspas, and Borini you are getting 4 CF's who are all a bit different in their approach: poacher, pace, movement, etc for what we may need or if we can, whisper it, go to plan B! <yikes>

    Btw, South Beach....... WOOFT!

Cissokho and Soldado as our next two signings?

Personally, I think we can do better than Soldado. I think the player himself is very good but he's 28 and is quite expensive. I mentioned earlier that someone like Luis Muriel or Lamela would be greater options.

Good to hear, I assume we are talking 55-60 million quid then which Arsenal will not reach (will they!?).

Surely he is too much of a risk for that kind of cash
